Covergroups in PH (The Truth)

Okay, I won’t tell you how it all started but I’m going to rant about the COVERGROUPS OF TODAY. Why? Well, I am a part of a covergroup to be honest, but we never came to a point that we need to act like a real idol. Isn’t that just annoying?  The real purpose of a covergroup is to support an idol group through dancing or singing their songs. Apparently, some covergroups forget that they are JUST a COVERgroup.  They simply want to perform for the sake of themselves. They start to forget that they are just dancing to KPOP songs that they DON’T EVEN OWN. Not to mention, act around like a famous idol group and plan about merchandise like shirts and stuff. Seriously, what the actual are you thinking?! As far as I can remember, covergroups perform to show their love and support for their idols. Sadly, that is not happening anymore. Don’t get me wrong, but you guys are talented but if you want to make a name for your group, never forget the artist that you’re trying to cover. Whenever I perform, I always keep in mind that I’m just a mere fangirl trying to dance like my idols. I’m not like them and I don’t act like them. When people admire our dancing, I do appreciate it. I don’t like to use the terms fans or fancams or all that kind of when someone appreciates us or people take videos. We’re the same as them, fans. (Anong say niyo kapag andito na talaga yung mga groups na KINOKOVER niyo? Astang yabang pa rin kayo? Tangina lang ah.)

Can you even believe that some of these COVERgroups require talent fees? So you think you’re that good already. Guess what everyone can learn the dance and some people may be better than you. C’mon, what’s happening?! I mean, the merchandise the ‘fans’ the talent fee. What’s next?  A covergroup version of a music video?

I don’t like people boasting around like a real IDOL. Reality check my friend, you’re not. You’re just a mere imitation. To your fans, I hope, I just hope that you don’t forget that they’re not the real idols. Some of you are ALSO forgetting about the real idols.

Well, hate me or what but it’s true. I’m not bashing, it’s just too much. In Filipino terms: MASYADO NIYO NANG KINAKAREER ANG PAGIGING COVERGROUP. OKAY?

Oo, nasa covergroup ako pero hindi ko sineseryoso ang pagiging part nun. Di ako nag-aastang mayabang at magfeeling na may fans ako or what. Hindi ako idol. PERIOD.

This also goes to the members of my covergroup, in case you guys are going overboard.
