Background : Born in Sydney, Australia and moved to Incheon, South Korea when she was 8 years old. Her parents continued teaching her English after they moved, so she'd become fluent in the language. Her mother is Korean while her father is Australian. When she was 4, her mother gave birth to her little brother. Music has always been a part of her life, as her mother is a music teacher and father a company producer. She was always encouraged to take part in musicals, competitions, carnival shows and parades. Her first theater performance was when she was 13 and she played Juliet in her school's end-of-year showing of Romeo And Juliet. She spent many holidays and weekends at her grandparent's in Busan, where she would be given swimming lessons and would spend hours playing in the ocean with her grandfather.
