During her College Years at The University of Hawaii, studying up for her degree is music producing, she had done many musicals/ talent shows to widen her abilities. Through one of the various local talent shows she had attended, an Asian Media Producer videotaped her cover to Alicia Keys ‘Girl On Fire’ and sent it to his boss back in Korea. Through the net, she had begun to receive many followers in the meantime catching SM’s eye. Once she accepted the audition and flew to Korea to study and train, she met G-Dragon while she was working at a coffee shop in Seoul. The pair grew closer and closer, as GD grew more and more interested in her. Knowing well who he was, she was amazed at his skills and talent behind his music. Seeing her potential and amazing abilities, GD showed an interest in helping further stretch her talents. They had been working together since she had arrived.

After many meetings together, the two began being known as the ‘jokers’ of SM. These two were the life of the party.

why did you love him: He is very silly and a fun person to be around. Seeing as Hoku gets easily bored, someone like TOP is hard to come by. Even if he is quite older than her, she looks up to him, and admirers his talents and hard work towards his goals. They met when GD and CL began to mentor Hoku, he was always around. He while she back, gaining them both the nickname of ‘the bickering couple’. Even though neither of them we’re dating, or showed any interest in the other.

enemy: Hyorin (SISTAR)

why:Being that Hyorin’s voice is beyond amazing, and something everyone is fascinated of, once Hoku steps into the limelight, Hyorin’s voice is pushed to the side because of something greater. Whenever they meet, not one word is shared between the two, only the exchange of silent glares that seemed to be directed at the newly debuted idol.  Hoku tries to become friends with Hyorin because she admirers her, but Hyorin can’t stand her.  Both girls have it as their goal to overpass each other.

his enemy: Jonghyun (SHINee)

why:one of Hoku’s various mentors, obviously attracted to her. They spend many hours a day during her training together. Both very comfortable around each other, and couple models for cosmetics. TOP is a jealous mess whenever Hoku is seen around Jonghyun, only because he knows that Jonghyun has special feelings for the woman, ones that surpass what he is willing to admit to everyone.

his personality: Jonghyun is very shy at first, but once he is comfortable around you, he’s laughable, huggable, and just like a big brother. He loves his music, and looks at every detail to surpass.  Very sweet towards women, especially those younger than him gaining him the nickname of ‘playboy’. He constantly flirts with Hoku every chance he gets, but Hoku being the airhead she is, doesn't realize anything.
