Fandoms! Issues within them!

I noticed a lot more recently that people are always having issues with each other. For some reason fans get into arguments with fans of other groups. It is really ridiculous and immature. The thing that is really getting to me is when there are arguments within the fandoms as well. I don't understand why people feel the need to shove their opinions down everybody else's throat.

If you don't like something, it is alright to say you don't like something and give a specific reason why, but there is absolutely no reason why you should go around saying things to put down other people. Name calling, for instance, is really juvenile and I see it happening a lot recently, especially when it comes to people being fans of girl groups. People who are major fans of girl groups seem to always try to raise their group up by putting another down. By doing that you aren't just just damaging the group you put down but you also are bringing your own group down because you felt the need to compare them, which means that you thought they were of the same caliber at one time or another. This also happens a lot when people are fans of different companies. It also seems like people who are major fans of SM really love to put down the other companies the most.

The best example I could give of that is the comparison between 2NE1 and Girl's Generation. I have no clue why either fandom even compares the two groups in question. They are totally different music wise in my opinion. I hate going on sites, seeing an article about one of the groups and then finding a whole bunch of comments putting the other group down (EXP: "In your face blackjacks!" "and they say GG is the best group" "Doesn't  2NE1=ty"  these are quotes I have remembered reading.) This starts all kinds of trouble on websites. In all honesty this gets really old. People don't know how to act and behave when it comes to being on the internet at all.

I was online yesterday at some website they were discussing CL's bra showing during the concert that 2NE1 did with Snoop Dogg (I REFUSE TO CALL HIM SNOOP LION! THAT IS A STUPID NAME!). In the comments section every body started talking about how if Hyuna was the person who had her bra showing that people would have said so much about it. While I could see where people could say something like that about How CL was treated differently for her bra showing compared to the way Hyuna probably would have been treated. People have to take a step back and see where the malice actually lies with this issue. Hyuna gives off a ual aura when on stage, while CL does not. CL doesn't try to over ualize herself. The reason why Hyuna would have had a lot said about her is because almost everything she does comes off as ual.

Not only that but if people would have done their homework on her before commenting they would have known that CL recently has been really into Aaliyah. If you don't know who Aaliyah is, she was a singer who passed away in a plane crash in the early 2000's. If you look at her outfit it is really reminiscent of Aaliyah's style.

Back to the main point in all this: I am so excited for 2PM's comeback. Yesterday I went back and decided to watch a whole bunch of their old videos on youtube. I was watching "again & again", afterwards I was looking through comments casually, and I saw a bunch of comments that disturbed me. What made me mad wasn't that people were  commenting, what made me mad was that the topic of conversation: Jay Park. I understand that you all like him and support him, I do too. I get that he is in the video but that doesn't mean that he has to be the main topic of conversation every time. With that said there is absolutely no reason for you to have his name all over the video comparing him to 2PM currently. He left a long time ago, they have all grown up and moved on so why can't we as fans do so too. I am sure the memories that they had together they will never forget, but you can't live in the past. A few of the comments that I saw were talking about how he is totally different now than the way he used to be. He is getting older and more mature, what did you expect, he isn't going to stay the exact same for the rest of his life.

They have come into their own as people and I am just sick and tired with all the same old arguments that get started for no reason at all. The fighting arguments for any of these groups is ridiculous and damn near scary when you think about it, it's almost you are brainwashed into only thinking about your group and everybody else . It's perfectly fine to have different opinions, it makes the world better and more interesting to have different opinions on things. It opens up your mind to a lot of different aspects you didn't think of.

That's how fandom works, which it's pretty sad to be honest.. The saddest part is when certain amount of fans of a group bashes one of the members for no reason. Like how I see some SONEs saying they believe in the power of 9, but then the same ones make hate comments on either Hyoyeon or Yoona or Some Shawols I've met loves all five members but then bashes Jonghyun for things he didn't do..
