Personality :

As a child growing up, Yeo Reum kept to herself and had a hard time dealing with strangers. She was always self-conscious as a kid and only dared to speak out when she was with her close friends. As she entered adolescence, she began to feel more self-confident and suppresses her shyness by pretending to be completely at ease when approaching strangers. This resulted in many casual friends with only a handful of close ones. Contrary to what most people would do, she does not show extra care and concern for her close friends. In actual fact, Yeo Reum is the type of person who loves to outwit other people and torture them with pranks much to her own amusement. She always loved to joke around a lot but constantly gets into arguments due to her stubborn nature. She has never been a violent person and instead attacks people with words. She constantly harrasses her close friends to the brink of falling out but more often than not, she shows a deep concern for her companions and supports them as they go through their "life-changing" crisis-es. She wastes no time and pulls them right back on their feet should they fall and keeps them upright in her own special ways.

 

Despite that, she's a very secretive person and trusts no one. Nothing prompted this behavior but she still continues to do so. Due to this, she has mastered the skill of hiding her feelings but she has a weakness. Her eyes. They absolutely refuse to remain fixated on the people that make her stomach flutter. At the same time, she does not cry easily and only does when she faces injustice or witnesses it. She is a very analytical person and often studies other people's behaviors and is able to pick up human tendencies easily. To balance off all the thinking, she acts childish all the time. She willingly expresses her hunger and fatigue every morning to her peers but the feelings that matter remains her own little secret. To keep up with her act, she constantly distracts herself; a feat that is not hard at all to do. She constantly finds herself twirling and humming as she skips into the kitchen to find something to eat, posing in front of the fridge as she stares sensually at an imaginary camera. Yeo Reum is a weirdo. But with so many weirdoes around, it's hard to say if she really is as weird as she appears to be. 

 

Yeo Reum loves skinship. She likes to hug people and usually really means it, melting into the other person's embrace even if she is the one who intiated it. She likes to play around with other people's hands when she's bored, comparing their fingers with her own long ones and marvelling at the difference. When she feels particularly impulsive, she might even poke a person's face just for the heck of it, often leading to a hit or two on her hand. When she's alone outside, Yeo Reum has a tendency of not being able to control her facial expressions. As her mind wanders, she puffs up her cheeks, pouting as she recalls a particularly undesirable memory. As she watches her bus drive away, her lips part slightly and she watches the bus drive away with her eyebrows drawn together. They shoot up as she awkwardly watches the woman who tripped walk away briskly. How peculiar.

 

Back Ground :

Growing up, Yeo Reum led a pretty much uneventful life. Her choice to join an agency was a pretty impromptu one without any preparation beforehand. But she has always loved to dance and the appeal of variety shows and new acquaintances excited her so she never looked back. Her voice was mediocre but she made it through and now her current goal is to make a good impression in the K-Pop world. So day by day, she works hard for her group as she believes that they are doing the same for her and she strives to make sure that they will eventually develop a bond within the group that will never break no matter what. She has had her fair share of crushes from school days and her personality hasn't changed. She still keeps mum about them and treats them passively, almost as if they're not there, at all. Occassionally, when she gets tired of ignoring the person she fancies, she pretends to be obvious, staring at him far too longer than necessary just to get some sort of reaction from him. But still, she hasn't changed since she was a rookie and continues to be the hyper-active energy pill that brightens up anyone's day.

[A-Pink | Kwon Ha Yan | 18 | Ha Yan is a good singer with big doe eyes that disappear into crescents when she smiles. Her hair is in big curls that falls perfectly around her shoulders. She has a sweet singing voice and it gained her a place in A-Pink following the departure of one of the original members. She has a childlike personality and is full of aegyo. | Ha Yan was Yeo Reum's schoolmate since young but they never really got along. On the first day of school after summer break however, Ha Yan approached Yeo Reum and treated her as if they were best friends all along. This confused Yeo Reum but she played along, being nice to the girl but never really being comfortable with her. Ha Yan constantly invited herself over to the Cha's and would insist on staying for dinner, sitting right beside Yeo Reum. It took only 4 visits for Yeo Reum to realise that her new friend had the hots for her older brother, Sang Hoon. The unrequited love stayed unrequited and their friendship ended promptly after a dramatic confrontation and they never made up though technically, there wasn't a genuine relationship in the first place to fall out from.
