"Update Soon Please"

This type of comment does not make me want to update soon, it actually makes me want to update less.

People, please refrain from writing this on ANY author's stories. It's discouraging and annoying. Personally, I would rather not have any comments than have multiple comments that tell me to update soon.

Respect the authors (especially the very good ones). Write thoughtful comments, please. I mean, I do that on other stories that I read so you should too.

I just hope users here would know hot to leave good comments. I think constructive critism would be one of the best things I'd love to read.
Update soon spammers should stop.

I agree with this blog post. Those who leave those "update soon" commests are mostly karma . I consider "update soon" as an invisible comment. I mean, you'll write 1k words and all they'd say is "that's good. Update soon." bam! One karma point.

is actually encouraging them to move on...what else u want us to say...go die? that'd be rude and well unsympathetic...and cruel...i am a nice person...i prefer nice than harsh comments really..and i prefer people say that than not comment at all. just saying
