Fromer A Pink member Hong Yoo Kyung′s father has been asserting that Hong Yoo Kyung was forced to leave her group, but A-Cube Entertainment maintained that she left willingly.

 

 

A rep from A-Cube Entertainment told enews on May 3, "Former A Pink member Hong Yoo Kyung left after we all reached an agreement on the issue. She was not kicked out, not did we give her sudden notice."

 

Hong Yoo Kyung′s father had previously hinted through SNS that the member had been forced to leave A Pink.

 

On May 3 he again said, "I asked the agency to release an honest apology to fans and to let [Hong] Yoo Kyung back into the group. I hope you help us."

 

He also said, "We received notice a month before [she was made to leave]..."

 

The rep from A-Cube emphasized on the other hand, "It is true [she and A Pink] went their separate ways with consent from everyone, and she definitely wasn′t kicked out. We hope the issue won′t continue to be debated in the future."

 

It had said at the time, "After considering whether to continue her career or continue on her studies, Hong Yoo Kyung has decided to concentrate on her studies. Please show your support for her life as the normal college student Hong Yoo Kyung."
