Snow in Spring

Snow...in the beginning of May...

Flutters of snow fall in from the gray cloudy sky...

What a wonderful day.

It's chilly outside. In thick layers of clothing, she steps out.

Little snowflakes fall on her, but they quickly melt away.

The snow that touches the ground doesn't stay, but quickly melt like the earth's surface is burning hot.

Reaching out her hand, snowflakes gently lands and melts away.

A light breeze blows by making her shiver. She looks up at the sky and wonders, "Why is it snowing? When will spring come?"

For spring is her favorite season, but it's coming late. The snow has been coming and going.

One day it would be snowing, the next it would be warm and sunny.

Sighing, she asks, "Why does it keep snowing? I want the flowers to bloom."

Retreating her hand, she stuffs it in her pocket and gaze into the distance.

Winter was far gone, but it was snowing like it was only the beginning.

Spring is here, but there is no flowers to look at. No leaves on the trees. Nothing, there isn't anything that is spring like.

Looking up at the sky again, her face softened. A small soft smile curved at the end of her lips.

"Your favorite season is winter, while mines is spring. You love the snow and I love the colorful flowers.

Now that you're gone, snow is overcoming flowers. Just like how you did to me.

But I'm over you now. Flowers will come and snow will fade. Eventhough, snow will come again, I won't be scared to face it anymore.

I'm growing stronger each and every day. I won't let the past hold me anymore."

Just a little short script here. It really did snow here in Minnesota though...it's kind of depressing, but oh wells. What could I do when it comes to mother nature? Nothing. So I'll let it be. I'll enjoy the coldness before it disappears and hotness comes making me wish the coldness was back.
