background: Yuanmi grew up without even knowing how it feels to be loved by a father because they had a distant relationship and she was traumatized at a very young age of 5. Being beaten up by your father without any reason so suddenyly-wouldn't that be traumatizing? She was even sent to the hospital. Because of that, she grew up being a 'tough' little girl who would always try to defend herself from those who wants to harm her. But she wasn't alone, her childhood friend eversince would always be there to help her when her mother can't. She also has a younger sister, and Yuanmi always envied her.. because her father's attention was always to her, and when her sister gets hurt, she would be blamed even though she didn't know anything about what happened and even get a slap sometimes when her mother is not around. Where is her mother anyways? She's busy helping in Yuanmi's grandfather's family business (father side), and is often home because of it. Only at school does she feel 'free' especially when she's with her bestfriend. She may not have much girl friends, but it had a reason. Every girl in class always 'hated' her somehow and even called her a '' and '' for having a lot of guys as friends more than girls. She was boying what can they do? She doesn't like stepping on others like they do, so what can they do? She doesn't really care about her 'appearance' so much like them because she thinks it's better to be contented with what you are, so what do they care?
But wait, how'd she become tough? how'd she become the tomboy-ish girl and why does she not care about what others think of her because of it? Well before back when she was still in the middle of her elementary days[wherein it all started], there are those typical bullies.. Ofcourse, being a 'girl' she was once-no targetted four times by some bullies, BUT eventhough she didn't back down from them, she tried defending herself from them and fought back, she wasn't alone though, she was with her bestfriend who got her back just in case. Indeed, she WAS sent to the guidance office because of this and had a record but it didn't actually matter since it was only two times since she was studying hard and the teachers 'kindof' understood the situation. She became boyish upon being a grade 4 student, wherein her other 'girl friends' ended up to be just using her and started backstabbing her about things she's not. She ended up [along with her bestfriend] being 'closer' to guys as their friends. She doesn't care about what other thinks of her anymore as she learned that , maybe they're just so 'insecure' and was feeling 'jealous' towards her - her mom taught her that. He's sometimes the conceited one and the one that wants to have some things to go his owns way. how did the chara. got into pledis ent.: She was an exchange trainee from Stardom Ent., to Pledis Ent.. Though before entering she had to perform, and she performed with a freestyle dance of a remix she made, sang and rapped to Soksoksok and she was accepted.
