Stressed Out + Reason Story Updates are Slow
As the first part of the title suggests, I've been stressed out lately. My schedule has been really packed from school, softball, college, and other miscellaneous events. Since all this is taking up my time, it's hard to find the muse for writing or I'm having trouble getting the plot of the story flowing.
One of my current fanfics, Picture Imperfection, I don't really worry about because I type the chapters on the school laptop and I email it to myself on my personal laptop and update from there. (Or I just update from the school.) But my other two fanfics, Zodiac Charm and Soul Eater: SM Redux, it's taking forever to write one page. (I average about 4 pages a chapter.)
I'm thinking about putting those two fanfics on hold until I get this mess straightened out or until I have time to write them. I have written three fanfics at the same time before but now I just can't find the motivation to get it done.
I have been in a situation where I have put a fanfic on hold, but I never got back to writing it again. I will be finishing those fanfics but it's going to take some time. Also, I kind of want to focus on Picture Imperfection and get that completed as soon as I can.
There's also one more thing: I've started to write a brand new fanfic. I've only written the first chapter, but this is a fanfic I really want to get to writing. Problem: the two fanfics are holding me back on that. I want to at least get Zodiac Charm finished (which it's pretty close to being done), but I'm not so sure about Soul Eater SM Redux. That one is just a remake of an old fanfic I've written.
That's basically the reason I've been so slow on updates lately. I'm not really one to give up on a project, but if I've completely lost interest in it I'll just drop it.
Here's probably what my update schedule will be like:
Picture Imperfection - Updated as soon as a chapter is finished
Zodiac Charm - Slow updates / Updated when final drawings are finished
Soul Eater: SM Redux - Canceled until further notice
Unforgotten: Tale of Memory and Desicion *New* - May 2013
