APink (Park Chorong, Yoon Bomi, Jung Eunji, Son Naeun, Hong Yookyung, Kim Namjoo, Oh Hayoung) 

It’s already become warm April, who’ve brought us warm spring weather, past the cold winter.

It is unfortunate in this warm April that ACube Entertainment is about

to deliver a very saddening news. 

First and foremost, We feel greatly regrettable to say to the fans who love Apink, how 

sorry we are for delivering such news. 

We are official announcing that Hong Yookyung, who’ve shared the tears

and happiness with fellow Apink members for past two years since April 

19th, 2011, and also received tremendoug love from fans,

will no longer be an active member of Apink. 

Hong Yookyung has been a very hard working and honest member of Apink

since debut. However when conflicted with the path of entertainment 

activity and education, after thinking and rethinking constantly 

concerning the other members’ future, Yookyung’s future and APink’s future as a group, 

Yookyung and ACube had to come to a very difficult conclusion such as this. 

Yookyung will leave Apink and continues onto a university this year. She will plan

to focus on her studies. Thus please support Hong Yookyung, no longer as a 

member of Apink, but as a regular college student who is just the same 

as any girls in her age. Please continue to support her life as a college

student and her future endeavers. Also please send your unwavering love

and support for rest of the members of Apink, who are 

suffering in this difficult time, but holding their ground firmly. 

We apologize once again for greeting numerousfans with this saddening news once again. 

Acube will continue to work hard and improve as a company alongside with

Apink.
