PREDEBUT — Jaemin was an ordinary boy who didn't really care about his appearance. His hair was black, and he never style it, Jaemin just let his hair loose without combed it first. His skin wasn't treated well enough, but Jaemin always kept his skin clean and healthy.

DEBUT — Of course, Jaemin became more handsome. His stylist did his best with Jaemin's black hair, after debuted, his stylist dyed Jaemin hair with dark brown color. GXEnt also made him gained more weight, so after debut, his body isn't skinny anymore.

STYLE —

·Dance practice: He loves to wear anything that comfortable. Prefer on oversized shirt, skinny jeans and sneakers. Jaemin use a hat for covering his unstyled hair.

·Dorm: Jaemin will use his shirt and boxer, or in simple way, he wear his pajamas.

·Airport: Indeed, Jaemin will be enjoy it when he wore a t-shirt and medium jeans, but the group's stylist always dressed Jaemin with shirt, jeans, sneakers, and a jacket or hoodie. Yet, whatever he wore, he will bring a backpack, wearing sunglasses and draping a white headphones around his neck.

He is a motherly type boy. A perfectionist. Really stingy. And he can be very stubborn at times.

PERSONALITY —

Jaemin is a young man who is very concerned about his surroundings. He likes to help others. Many people often consider him as an umma figure because he's really caring and loving his friends/brothers. He is also easy to get along with people and very friendly. Jaemin weak in front of cute things, more easily, kids. Additionally, Jaemin is a very good listener, expert in providing solutions and good at keeping people's secrets. Jaemin is not easily provoked and mad, it makes a lot of people like to be around him. Moreover, Jaemin can cook very well.

Jaemin is the person that is difficult to delegate responsibilities to others. He was afraid there would be some things changed from the original plan. As much as possible, Jaemin always keep everything stays in place. He also hates a dirty places, when he saw it happen, he will nag and demand everything be clean. Jaemin also doesn't like slow people, because for him, time is everything. When he's looking at people who are slow and likes to stall for time, Jaemin will ignore them until he let the matter drop.

When discussing money, Jaemin will be very calculating and stingy. He would restrict all financial in order there are no purchase on useless stuff. Jaemin is not obsessed with wealth, like seriously, he just doesn't like to see a lot of people wasting their money for their personal wishes. And it will end with the grief of people who need a lot of things, but can not afford it. So, Jaemin prefer to save and donate his money to the children in orphanage. Behind all of that, Jaemin still a young man who had a strong stance. Sometimes he can be very stubborn and wont listen to other people's opinions. This side was avoided by people, and therefore, most people will always make Jaemin not be in a difficult situation where he had to decide difficult things.

BACKGROUND —

Jaemin was born in Busan, South Korea and grew up in a small family that is quite simple. His father (Park Minsoo, 48) is a dentist, and his mother (Oh Jinae, 49) is one of the expert chef in a famous hotel in Busan. Three of them were pretty close, and Jaemin often learned how to cook delicious food from his mother.

Jaemin is an only child, so he grew up with a lot of love from his parents. But even so, his father raised him in strict way, then Jaemin wont grow up as a spoiled child.

SINGING — His voice is the husky and heavy type. He gave so much emotions and feelings to the songs, be it singing solo or adlibing in a group. Jaemin often did the high note whenever he/his group sang a song. (link here)

DANCING — Jaemin doesn't dance well. Jaemin thought that his dance is pretty awkward, yet Jaemin always did his best and tried to not tripped over his feet.

ACTING — Jaemin had never acted before. He has no experience and don't know what to do when the recording starts. Even so, Jaemin can still show off some expressions that are often required in the acting field that he learned from watching dramas.

VARIETY — For Jaemin, it's very easy to follow the flow of conversation. He did a lot of variety in natural way, his loving nature always stands out wherever he appeared. As a mature-enough person, Jaemin could handle the various questions that addressed on him and always manage to entertain the audiences with his behavior.

ONSTAGE PERSONALITY — Initially, the company ordered Jaemin to be quiet and mysterious figure on stage. However Jaemin subtly rejected it because he felt he could not suppress his emotions (eg, to be friendly and spread his smile) in front of the fans. Finally, the company agreed to make Jaemin as a warm figure on stage, but, he must keep all his behavior to not moving or speaking a lot and acting silly in order not to damage the image of a good boy.

TRAINEE LIFE — Little Jaemin was hoping to be a singer ever since he was on playgroup, then when he was 13, he began attending various auditions, but always been rejected. Jaemin always trying to improve his singing and dancing ability, and diligently search for the latest info about singer auditions from various companies.

When he auditioned in GX Ent, the judges saw his ability and eventually casted him as a trainee. The training periods were more severe than he ever thought. He trained every day for hours on many different lessons, in addition, he still had to focus on his school. Repeatedly, Jaemin wanted to surrender, but his parents always advised him that his dreams will come true if he try a little harder.

This young man also often cried when he found his body sore after his dance lesson. His legs sprained frequently, but there was no time to wait for the pain to healed before the others practice time begins again. But then, Jaemin accustomed to the lifestyle as a trainee. He could set his sleeping time, his studying time, and he could set his moves so he wont slip nor fall again.
