[Global ‘M COUNTDOWN’ Special] Artist Spotlight: SHINee

M COUNTDOWN is taking over Taiwan this month, and in anticipation of the global K-Pop event, we′re spotlighting the artists who are set to take the stage at this year′s show as well as the memorable moments that shaped the K-Pop world these last few months.

SHINee hit the ground running when it returned with hit single Dream Girl in February, and the members are showing no signs of slowing down.

After sweeping up trophies on K-Pop’s top music programs and clinching the Triple Crown on Mnet’s M COUNTDOWN, the sky is the limit for these boys.

Their celebratory three-story totem pole wasn’t just for show. Armed with five years of K-Pop experience, SHINee knows what it takes to be on top.

It’s SHINee’s world, and we’re just living in it, as the boys managed to light Japan up with the release of its seventh Japanese single Fire only a month later in March.

Meanwhile, Onew was busy putting his own fire out when a dating scandal with After School’s Jung Ah broke last month.

The group hit another bump in the road, when member Jonghyun was involved in a car accident that resulted in a fractured nose, but it’s full speed ahead here on out for the members as Minho takes on hosting duties as the MC of upcoming KBS variety show Mamma Mia and the reformatted Music Core, while the newlywed life is expected to keep Taemin tied down for a while.

Oh, but the boys haven′t left the K-Pop stage, as SHINee will soon be launching into its Chapter 2 promotions.

SHINee is set to take the stage at this year’s M COUNTDOWN: Nihao-Taiwan on April 24, but in the meantime get revved up for the show by watching the dreamy boys below!
