I stumbled upon this blog while trying to find out if there's a secret pocket of other guys on this site :S I felt compelled to rally with you.
I'm a guy, and I most certainly do not have any aspirations of hooking up with other guys. I'm also a guy who really, really likes kpop :) I dig the boy groups because I think they're very talented, but the only groups I'm attracted to are the female ones ;)
I've liked kpop since 2011, and I have not once felt the need (or desire) to become homoual just because of that fact. If you're worried that kpop alone will 'turn you gay', I don't think that's all that possible :s At least, that's what I've found from personal experience. I'm sure each case is different.
I've read stories where male characters have been paired with other male characters and, tbh, it doesn't really appeal to me :S I've thought the writing on some of them was very good (exceptional even in some cases), yes. But I'm more attracted to the quality of the description than I am toward the notion.
I can tell why you might be distressed. It's difficult feeling as though you're alone. Fear not. I can tell you that there are other males who like kpop (mostly for the girls though :S I've not encountered many who are fans of the boy groups). However, if you suddenly discover that kpop has awoken a latent homouality in you, there's nothing wrong with that either ;) We're all people, pal.
