How you discovered: I was just 8yrs old when I was discovered when I went to my Brother’s practice, I was just watching him from the side, I was really amazed to see my brother give his best in their practice and I wanted to do the same. When they took a break I stayed at their practice room and the music, I danced to the music and sang the parts, even though I’m still a kid at that time, suddenly the president heard the music that was playing so he entered the room out of curiosity, he saw me there dancing and singing my heart out, he then approached me and asked me if I want to join the SM family, my brother then came back and talked to the president, at first heechul didn’t want me to join but he saw the determination in my eyes so he said yes, our parents did not know anything about me being a trainee, my brother and I usually sneaks out of the house just to train.
