So before my first fanfiction was completed I was informed by my lovely reader that someone had plagiarised it on this site. I mean, some of you guys may have been there and remembered it and some of you may not have been. But the situation handled itself pretty well, I subbed to the the story and I think the author kind of got the hint and deleted the fanfic lol (and someone commented on it calling her out on it being plagarissd lol I didn't send her there I swear).

And now it's happened again. My first work is called The Played Playboy. It's not exactly something I'd proudly show off because the title makes me cringe (believe it or not I started this by googling good title for a story and kind of worked with that) and the overall plot isn't so great (though I would like to think I improved lots in the last couple of chapters). I do occasionally go back and correct grammars but I still don't think it's that great enough for it for be plagarised. Twice. 

No, I'm not being paranoid. I know there's lots of stories with this plot and that's all good but this person has copied it word for word. Only changing the names.

I actually found this in a really funny way. I remember my teacher saying we shouldn't copy from the Internet because they can easily copy a sentence and search it onto google and find the original source. I casually selected the first bit of my description because I was wondering if I'd find my tumblr post (it was a personal rant post before I decided to insert it into my work) and happened to see this wattpad site everywhere. So I clicked on it.

While reading it my jaws dropped, not as in like "hell naaa this motherer I'm going to stab u, how dare u steal ma work and claim it as ur own" but more like "OMGGG LOOOOL I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS LOLOL."

But in all seriousness though I was like giggling to myself. Want to know the names they changed my characters into?

Seo Yoorin = Chantella 

No Mineoo = Justin

Lee Jeongmin = Matt

Hana (I forgot what last name I gave her that's how generic her name is) = Victoria 

Changjo & Ricky (small side characters) = Jason and Kyle

Know what's even more funny? While reading it I noticed that sometimes she forgets to replace the original character's name and replace it as her own. So sometimes when it should say Victoria there'd be a random 'Hana' there xD

I mean, my first reaction was that I was amused but I would be lying if I said i wasn't annoyed. I'd be reading it and remembering the late nights I stayed up typing up my update, reading it back and then rereading it again and again to make sure everything was corect. Like guys. Really. Stawp. 

If someone has drained themself physically and mentally for their work then don't steal it.

...well at least her title for the story is better than mine.

Pinky_Pot is me :) They responded pretty quickly. See guys, there was no need to send the girl hate messages and make it all ugly ^^ I really hate it when authors send their readers off the bash on the person who copied their work when they could just simply go and sort it out themself :|
