Chad Future?

So what do you guys think of this Chad Future dude?

At first I thought he was a kid that wished to be a kpop star... but now I don't know. I mean, in general his songs are kinda cheesy... and his rapping and dancing aren't exactly top notch... but I like his song 'hello' and I think he's ok...

I just don't know >.< so I want your guys' opinion on him... I don't think he can be classed as a kpop star because he isn't Korean/Asian. People are like oh thats racist... but its 'korean' pop. But I like what he does with including Korean in songs... and I like it I guess that he represents international fans. I like him in general. but... I hate all the hate he gets

uh, imma just shut up...

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK???

UPDATE [07/05/2014] - Hey guys, or anyone that reads this. Just thought it would be appropriate to make a note here as I have been getting a few messages and comments about this issue. Ok so I wrote this blog post a year ago, therefore my opinions on Chad Future have obviously changed. Also, I am not wholly negative about him here. I think I am actually quite fair and open to the opinions of others which I obviuosly wanted to know before I formed my own opinion. Therefore do not bash me for having me own opinion no. 1, and please at least have the curteousy <- dont think I spelt that right) to check WHEN something was written before you bash whoever said it. Its mostly been in messages I've gotten and remember I'm sure a musician wouldn't want you guys bashing a fellow kpop fan anyways. So lighten up, other people have opinions too ^^ ......aside from the fact that I am a major fan of his now oh kill meh, especially his EXO overdose cover its actually amazeballs. Peace out! <3

He will never get famous among kpop people. His songs are Apop never heard such a thing Apop. There is a languagw barrier for a reason. That is why people from korea try to learn english and people that love korea or songs or whatever try to learn about korean. Its not whether you translate a song into english and sing it.. no.. stop.. your taking the fun out of it.. why do you think foreign kpop stars had to undergo training before debuting? Becausw they had to learn korean. I really dont undeestand why people say just because he covers korean song it isnt a big deal.m he created his youtube acc in 2012 and only reciwved 96k subs.. 96k subs.. ive seen youtubes that do other things and accomplished well over 1m subs less than 1-4 years. That is telking you something.. slow rapid growth means your not catching everyones attention. And the fact he doesnt tell in his bio his real name is...... no words to describe. Im not hating on the dude but to label himself a kpop star is really low esp coming from a person that doesnt understand a of korean.

This was a discussion a while ago but I'm commenting now anyways. I actually like chad future. I agree he isn't classified as "Kpop" and actually his songs are cheesy but he is very motivational and I've always wanted a A-Kpop artist to listen to... All these American artists are taking a bad turn on the radio, while Kpop is staying relatively refreshing. I just don't want him to contaminate Kpop with the American full-out foul language; even though most Kpop stars find inspiration in American idols anyways lol

Honestly I think chad is super cute. I didn't even know he was in kpop until rock the world feat. Vixx Ravi. And his new song with Aron is super catchy. So what I'm trying to say give the guy a break. Yes I know his covers are a on the rough side but still.

I like him. He's really cute & sweet and just doing what he loves. What's so wrong about that? I think the problem here is racism. If there was none of that, nobody would have a problem. It's all, "Kpop is only made for Korean/Asian people" when if you think about it,.. it's not. Kpop is Pop music in the Korean LANGUAGE. If theres a person who likes singing in Korean or mixing both english and korean together then let them. <3

Plus, if any of you guys actually watched his other videos like his interviews and stuff, you'd realize he's a complete cutie & a sweetheart. A music video doesn't define someones personality. It defines the concept, of the song. Smarties (that was slightly a sarcasm insult, but hey I had to say it). c:

This is probably late, but I really love Chad Future. He's a big inspiration to me, to break out of the norm and follow your dreams. His dream is kpop. He's not stuck up not one bit, you can see from the way he interacts with us fans on Twitter. He's really sweet, he's motivated to do what he loves, and inspires others. As he said in an interview, "I don't get why I get so much hate for doing what I love, which is kpop, when you guys like it too. We both love kpop." He's doing pretty damn good considering he hasn't had the years of training k-pop idols have. I personally don't think it's right to limit k-pop to just Koreans. What if people started saying (which some already do) that only Korean's could listen to k-pop? That would , it's the same way with singers. K-POP is a style of music and there's much to it than the race behind it. Chad Future is breaking out of the norm and doing what he loves, which is k-pop. If you watch his interviews on YouTube, there's much more to him than you see in his covers. <3 :))) I'm a proud Time Traveller. ^__^

It's not Kpop breaking into America, it's America breaking into Kpop xD Jk jk~ I love him, but I wouldn't call him a K-pop idol xD

idk i don't think kpop should be restricted to koreans, but the dude annoys me. seems a little stuck up his own ___ tbh.
