Self Writing Reflection

Stolen from everyone.
Literally.
Well maybe except Jason XD

[ 1 ] How many fics have you started? (No matter how few it is, you can give yourself a pat on the back for demonstrating initiative.)

Urghhh the ones on here or EVERY SINGLE STORY I've written?
...well the ones one here...(goes to count)
15, although I think there was a story called "Zodiac Warriors" that I wrote but then decided to delete because it didn't really have an well known Asian people in it. So 16ish.

[ 2 ] How many figs have you completed? (Now, if it’s greater than zero, you can give yourself another pat on the back for demonstrating commitment.)

...10 I have completed so far.
Meh. I find it hard to complete sequels, IDK if a oneshot series can ever be completed, Mercy for Misfortune is kinda on hiatus...
Yeah let's just I'm trying to find the juices again.

[ 3 ] What is your very first fig? What inspired and motivated you to write it? How do you feel and what do you think about it now?

My very first fic was "Tripping Is the Key" Urghhhh Simon and Martina motivated me? I mean, they are just SO FREAKING AWESOME. And then Amber and Key were like the only idols I knew at the time that were chill and spoke English pretty well, and my friend's bias is Key so it all worked out ^_^
Umm I feel a bit proud, nostalgic, and somewhat embarrassed, like looking back at childhood photos...

[ 4 ] Which fic of yours do you think is the most well written? Why?

Urghhh I have no idea. Either Beautiful Stranger or The Dreamer of San Francisco, since there are the ones I started the latest and are actually completed. I like to think the fic I'm working on now, "The Devil Wears Glasses" is pretty good, but I guess I can't tell until I finish it.

[ 5 ] Which fic of yours do you think is the most poorly written? Why?

Probably EXONE or my first fic. Both were drawn out way too long that I would have liked them and the ending is probably irrelevant to the beginning. Kinda. IDK.

[ 6 ] Which fic is your favorite out of the ones you’ve written? Why?

...IDK actualy. Maybe Illusion of Cinderella because people still find it good? Well I guess I find it pretty great. Hmm.

[ 7 ] Which fic is your least favorite out of the ones you’ve written? Why?
"How the rain falls in China" just because it's a dang sequel and I aboely just started hating writing it after a while...no one was really commenting, I was running out of ideas, so now it just sits in my stories section. I have had people beg me to start writing again, but I feel like I can't help but move on.

[ 8 ] Which character that you’ve written (does not have to be an OC; can be your portrayal of an idol) do you believe most closely resembles you?
Huh. Well most of my OCs resemble me. I mean, I had to create them.
I think "One Month Later in My Dreams" was definitely the most honest representation I have given about myself, especially since it was almost like my diary. But honestly if you used that protrayal and tried to link me with it right now, you couldn't. That was a version of me when I was having a crush. Right now, I'm kinda living y, free and single. Completely different person. Right now, I'm probably more relevant to Kalyn from "EXONE: The Oracle of Fear".

[ 9 ] What are the most common topics and themes that dominate your stories?
Love, fluffy stuff, although now I have some angst...Conflicts...flaws...
Also I LOVE ambigious endings. My friends hate me for it but that's how life flows ya know? Ambigiously.

[ 10 ] What do you think are your strengths when it comes to writing? Be specific.
I definitely have lots of ideas, and I like to think I create the world around the characters well. Like they're almost your friends.

[ 11 ] What do you think are your weaknesses when it comes to writing? Be specific.
EVERYTHING ABOUT STRUCTURE AND LANGUAGE. OTL
And you would think a math/sciency person would be good at logic and that stuff...

[ 12 ] In what ways do you think you have improved since you first began writing fan fiction?
Definitely improved on continuity and originality.

[ 13 ] In what ways do you think your writing reflects you?
I think it reflects on what I would like to read, and how I see the world. Usually it's a better reflection of the works I have just seen or read, like dramas or books, but all with my touch and from my mind. And in some ways, they reflect my dreams that I know can't come true but I like to dream about them anyway.

[ 14 ] Why do you write?
Because I read? XD Also where else am I supposed to do with the ideas I get?

[ 15 ] How do you evaluate yourself as a writer? How do you define your success a writer?
I think I'm an okay writer. Urgh I guess this is shallow, but I define my success by my readers. Are they the ones I'm wanting to attract? How many actually like it? What do they tell me? Stuff like that.
Also if my mom says I'm awesome with creativity, than I am XD

[ 16 ] What do you think it means to be a writer?

I think to be a writer is to be a creator. Technically in the writing world, you hide among your words. No one really knows who you look like, what are you good at academically, your flaws and weaknesses, where you live, etc. Instead, you give pictures in your mind to other people. And to be able to be respected and praised for how you think is a really awesome thing.

Especially if you're like me and you always at English. :3
