On the afternoon of the 30th, G-Dragon marked the beginning of his solo world tour, “One Of A Kind” in Korea’s largest indoor performance hall, the Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastics Staidum. On the day of the concert, G-Dragon also revealed his new song, “michiGO” for the first time, with fans and spectators giving a positive and enthusiastic reaction to the song and the performances.

It appears that G-Dragon had felt sick prior to the concert due to the cold weather and massive preparations to the concert, having a fever and cold, resulting to having to go to the hospital to get checked out. But despite this, he still showed his enthusiasm and passion in performing showing his “ring fighter spirit.”

A representative for G-Dragon told Star News, “For the past several weeks, G-Dragon has been having his rehearsals in a gym in Seoul for his solo concert; when the staff from America all arrived a few days prior, rehearsals were moved to the gymastics stadium, which is the actual venue for the concert,” he said, “Because of the cold weather, he recently got a cold, and after a late night practice the day before his concert on the 30th, he continued to feel sick and suffered from a cold,” he revealed.

He continued, “If one member feels sick during a Big Bang concert, another member can go up on-stage to help. But since this is a solo concert, G-Dragon went up on-stage himself for his concert on the 30th, even after going to the hospital the night before,” he said, “G-Dragon put on a wonderful show full of passionate performances that the audience didn’t even notice that he was sick prior to it.

According to the same representative, 2NE1‘s leader, CL, who performed the song, “The Leaders,” with G-Dragon on the 30th, saw the urgency and suggested that 2NE1 be guest performers for the World Tour in Seoul second day concert on the 31st at the Gymnastics Stadium. With 2NE1 as guest performers for the concert, G-Dragon would not have to perform the full 2-hour concert by himself, which is relatively unhealthy given his body’s current state. With the girlgroup as guests, he could have time to rest in between performances and allow his strength and stamina to replenish.

Seeing G-Dragon‘s situation after performing with him, CL had called the 2NE1members on the spot. 2NE1 member Sandara Park initially had a personal schedule on the 31st and was set to leave for the Philippines on that day. But it was revealed that Sandara Park, understanding the situation, had chosen to postpone her trip to the Philippines in favor of guesting in the concert, showing her friendship with G-Dragon. Thus, on the second day of his Seoul concert tour, G-Dragon would have 2NE1 as special guests.
