it's said that xiumin is the most popular member in korea (idk) but if you're referring to china i think he's not that well known because every country preference is different. but lately he has been in the spotlight for throwing away his shyness and prove himself. and i think the main reason is because SM does not gave him enough promotion such as being in front when dancing, rapping along with the rappers or even sing miracles in december. even though d.o is as shy as him lately d.o is an actor because SM gave him the chance. so yeah, the main reason is always SM.

I won't necessarily say that he is ugly, but I can honestly say that I don't really care for his looks at all.

To be honest, Xiumin actually dances better than Lay. His moves are clear and he adds his own swag to it. SM just at promoting Xiumin.

you're actually kind of wrong Xiumin is my bias too but he is actually an amazing dancer the choreographer even said that he was better than lay and kai but he was shy and insecure and because of his height and figure it would be weird for him to be lead same thing with vocal he's amazing but just because of his looks he's not. actually to me he's the most handsome in the group to me he's not fat only his cheeks are chubby (not anymore) fans are cruel to him he's beautiful when i first saw exo i noticed Xiumin first i noticed him not kai or kris or luhan Xiumin is special pure talent SM needs to realize that.

He has his own features that distinguish him from the rest. At times when it comes to his haircuts, I wonder what they have in mind; at times they don't suit him at all >_<
