On Physical Separation

WHAAAAT. fishymushroom96 and I have graduated from our alma mater, Sacred Heart School, Tacloban City, and then we'll be going our separate ways, to different universities in different parts of the country.

Although among my classmates, there will be a few going to the same university as I will, it doesn't change the fact that I will be physically separated from most of my friends. I say physically separated because we will still be emotionally and psychologically attached to each other, albeit possibly temporarily. However, there's no guarantee that we will be able to stay as close as we hope. People change and grow apart eventually, which is a bit disheartening.

In my personal opinion, senior year is the year where everyone begins to really come together and become closer to one another, which honestly scares me, because I realize that the more attached one is to something or someone, the more painful it is to lose. Nevertheless, we still do this because we believe the memories will outride the pain, right? And through all the good memories, we remember not only the events, but specific things about people. I remember how I had the same laugh as fishy~ XD and how my other classmate had the corniest jokes, or how this one guy liked to scare people with his pocket knife. I don't remember the decorations at the class Christmas party. I don't know how long the prom took. The best memories are made with the best people.

fishymushroom96, let's continue with our fanfics even during college, so that we have a lot of ways to stay connected, arasso? ^_^
