MISUNDERSTANDING ABOUT KPOP BANNING FOR INTERNATIONAL FANS

EDIT: There has been a misunderstanding.

It seems that a screenshot floating around contained misinformation. UMG IS NOT BLOCKING KPOP VIDEOS. The deal that they signed with Cube was to redirect traffic to the vevo sites in order for UMG to get money for each view. Please reblog this as much as the original post so we can spread the news before too many complaint emails can be sent.

I apologize for making a post without the correct information, I was simply trying to help everyone go about complaints the right way rather than mindless angry posts that wouldn’t help.

Oh.. phew~!^^ I was getting worried for a moment. I seriously thought that they would ban all the kpop videos for the internationals..I'm glad it's just a misunderstanding. I'M LIKE SERIOUSLY HAPPY THAT THEY WON'T TAKE KPOP AWAY FROM ME BECAUSE I LIVE IN THE US :D I love you <3 thanks for telling us.

Thank you for letting us know. This is good news. Honestly, I didn't think that the labels would damage themselves and the success of their stars by doing it, so this makes much more sense to me. After all, businesses are about making money.
