HaeSong is a girl that people hate and love. People hate her for her appearance and the way she dresses but people love her because of her attitude towards elderly to youngsters. When she's with elderly, she will pull out the warmest smile and when she's with youngtsers, she will bend down her knees so that her eyes can match the youngster's eye level. If she's with the people that are the same age as her, she will be nice as well. The teachers love her but the students hate her. The teachers love her because she's helpful but the students hate her for being too nice. She can be mistaken as a guy because of her tomboy-ish. When people saw her for the first time, people say that she should go to the mens' washroom instead of the womens' washroom. When people don't listen to her, she just surpresses her anger because she doesn't want to spread rumours about the nice girl HaeSong shouting at a person. Queenkas hate her because she always used informality to the queenkas. Even though her idol friends are older than her, she always use informality because she's already comfortable with them.

Ever since HaeSong was 13, Ryeowook, Donghyun, Sunggyu and their cousin Donghae had to care for HaeSong due to her parents busy fashion tours. At that time, Ryeowook and Donghae already debut in the group Super Junior so, HaeSong was often brought to variety shows, music shows, outings and many more. She was even brought to overseas. HaeSong was away from Sunggyu and Donghyun because they were still trainees so, they couldn't hang out with HaeSong or Donghae. They would always say that they need to train when they can have the time to hang out with HaeSong and Donghae. HaeSong was kinda upset and told Sunggyu and Donghyun to quit. The three had an argument but Donghae stopped them before it gets anymore serious. Donghyun and Sunggyu said that they want to be idols no matter what obstacles get in their way. HaeSong understood and let them train. In 2010, Sunggyu debut in INFINITE and in 2011, Donghyun debut in BOYFRIEND also, INFINITE won their first win with 'Be Mine' in the mid year. Both HaeSong and Donghae were proud of Donghyun and Sunggyu for debuting and winning number 1 for the first time.
