I get annoyed really easily when people tell me that the reason they hate K-pop is because they don't understand the language. I mean, SERIOUSLY?! Is that really a good reason to hate something that isn't even a genre (also annoys me how people think of K-pop has just one genre). They should at least give K-pop a chance. I gave Dubstep a chance, but it's really not my taste. Each song is similar to the other so I can't really like just one part if most of it is the same.

K-pop is different. There are so many genres varying from ballads to rock and even to Dubstep (which I still don't necessarily like) that people could give a try to. They should most likely find songs similar to their taste since there really is such a variety of genres to choose from. To say that K-pop in general just because you can't understand what they're saying is just a pathetic excuse and you really are missing out on some great music.

Now I understand that people... get frustrated because they don't know what they are saying the first time. That was my frustration too, but there are this brilliant thing called SUBTITLES that let me understand the meaning to their songs. I learned that I really don't need to pay attention to what they're exactly saying since their emotion (depending on the singer) kind of already projects the meaning on to the song by itself and if it sounds good I don't see a reason why lyrics are stopping you.

And I'm not blind. I don't always like K-pop. I don't even like the big groups that most people like such as Big Bang and 2NE1, and there are some songs that just don't appeal to me that is a form of K-pop. I'm saying this all because it's offending that people overlook some songs because they heard others that have a completely different style but are still labeled as K-pop alongside each other. I'm not saying that you should love K-pop. I'm just saying that you should give it a chance. If you don't like one group, look at the next one. Each K-pop group is different and has their own style, so you should find at least one that appeals to you a bit.

I know that I will have a BUNCH of counter arguments from this and I may not be able to counter them all back, but I needed to vent this out. Too many people annoyed me with this already and I cannot deal with that anymore.
