●   personality: Lee Jaeyoon is a very open-minded person. She always looks at every side to every argument, and she is always willing to try new things and experience different cultures. She's not afraid to try something out or change things up a bit, which has lead her to take some choices that some have varied opinions on, such as getting her tattoos. She always knew there were people who wouldn't approve of what she did to her body, but being the type of girl she is, she would never stand up to people. Jaeyoon is very reserved too. Whilst she may not necessarily be quiet, she doesn't like to tell people about what goes on at home. She's afraid of being judged by others, and often finds herself being quite enigmatic and distant to others who try to get close to her in that way. Despite that, she's still a bright and bubbly girl who is always up for doing something fun and exciting if she can, and knows when enough is enough, and how to behave modestly. Jaeyoon is very intelligent and good at what she does, that being singing and dancing, and is a very passionate person. She is the type of girl, being a perfectionist that will do everything she can possibly do to make sure things are perfect, which sometimes comes as a real struggle of patience for her, but she'll get there eventually. Overall, Jaeyoon's personality is a muddle of things. She is extremely passionate about her singing and dancing, one of her biggest idols being BoA, and will always go to the full extent of perfectionism to make sure everything is right. ✗ ;  background: Jaeyoon was born to Jessica and Hyunjin Lee, a couple who, once over, loved each other more than anything in the world. Jaeyoon was born as a twin, and it the 17 minutes older than her sister Lee Jaehyun. The two were born in a hospital in London, as their mother Jessica was British, and their father Hyunjin had been living there for 15 years after moving with his own family. Jaeyoon and Jaehyun grew up together in a peaceful area, where nothing ever seemed to go wrong. When they started school together, Jaeyoon was always the fashion-forward one, which left Jaehyun to get picked on by others, though back then, Jaeyoon had more of a backbone, and always stood up for her sister, but it always brought pain. This is what caused Jaeyoon's lack of a backbone now. She always related having the strength to do something with getting hurt, so she couldn't continue. One day, as the pair were walking to the bus stop, one of the bullies ran out and pushed Jaehyun, sending her flying in front of the oncoming bus. By the time the ambulances arrived, she was already dead. When Jaeyoon got home, her father blamed her for Jaehyun's death, but her mother stayed quiet. Hyunjin hit Jaeyoon multiple times out of rage, accidentally knocking her down the stairs. Jaeyoon was knocked unconscious, but Hyunjin thought she was dead. He couldn't cope with the fact he had lost them both, so the next day, Jessica found him hanging from their bedroom ceiling. 

Jaeyoon and Jessica moved to Seoul in order to find peace and pass on the news to Hyunjin's family, who had moved back there two years prior. They were devastated, but they took Jaeyoon and Jessica in, and promised to look after them, since they were family. They lived a happy enough life there as they tried to move on from it all, and Jaeyoon attended school in Seoul, where she met her best friend, Bae Suji, or Suzy as she went by. The two hit it off quite well, and were practically inseperable, but Jaeyoon never told Suji anything about what happened with her sister or her father. Suji visited her house many times, and became well aquainted with Jessica and her grandparents, and was eventually a welcomed guest in the Lee household. Jaeyoon felt quite happy about things now. She had a new best friend, she had her mother and her grandparents, and a roof over her head. Things seemed to be looking up for the Lee's.

Just when things looked the best for the Lee's, Jessica began to fal ill. Knowing how happy Jaeyoon was with her new life, she tried as best as she could to keep it from her. Jessica battled with Lung Cancer for five whole months, trying to hold on and keep fighting for Jaeyoon's sake. Sadly however, she passed away after those five months and lost the battle. Jaeyoon only found out through a letter, which she barely managed to read without ruining with her tears. It took Jaeyoon a while to recover from the loss, but her grandparents helped her through it, and thinking it might help, bought her a puppy. It was a male puppy, and Jaeyoon named him Bae. For the next few years of her life, Jaeyoon lived with her grandparents in Seoul. Throughout her life, she had constantly practiced singing and dancing. Jessica loved to hear her sing, so she would always sing lullabies for her mother. She auditioned for SM Entertainment with an average hope, unsure whether such a high end company would take her, but she kept up hope. Whilst she was waiting to hear from SM, she had her tattoos done. The one on her wrist was for her mother, to 'believe' that she was at peace now, and that she was happy. Suji found out about everything, and remains as the only person who knows every little thing about Jaeyoon and what happened in her life, but then she was signed with JYP Entertainment before Jaeyoon auditioned for SM, so their time to see each other became limited, but Suji was able to pull out between a few schedules to meet her best friend. Once Jaeyoon was accepted, that time shortened still, but Jaeyoon was just pleased that something good had finally come around. Once she was 18, she moved out and bought a flat in Busan, and pursued a life of her own.

He always seemd to prefer Jaehyun over Jaeyoon, which is why he lost his mind when Jaehyun died. He was never a proper father figure to her and she never liked him much as he was usually only ever kind to Jaehyun.

Mother: Lee Jessica || 45 (died) || (was) Housewife || Loving, Kind, Open-Minded, Sweet, Intelligent ||  The relationship between Jaeyoon and her mother was the strongest bond she ever had, even stronger than the one between her and Jaehyun. Her mother always knew Hyunjin favoured Jaehyun, and if he hadn't of died, she would've divorced him anyway. Jaeyoon would always go to her for help, advice and guidance if she so needed it, or for comfort and care. She was her best friend.

But Suzy still cares enough to drop a phonecall to Jaeyoon's cell phone every chance she gets to see how her best friend in the whole world is coping without her amazingness.

When the EXO boys came to visit, Suho and Jaeyoon chatted for a while and exchanged numbers as friends. how is their relationship: Jaeyoon and Ilhoon are able to be quite comfortable around each other. They are quite close in terms of friendship, but Jaeyoon likes him a little more than that. She keeps that to herself for the time being however, in fear of rejection. Generally, they're good together. Ilhoon always makes Jaeyoon laugh, and he's not a persistent person that Jaeyoon might dislike. Ilhoon likes to poke fun at Jaeyoon for a joke, and can never really tell her that he does care about her, because he's so awkward about this kind of relationship. He doesn't really know what his feelings are towards Jaeyoon just yet, but he knows he cares about her, though the idea of telling her that to her face somewhat scares him. 

did they ever meet: Jaeyoon and Ilhoon went to the same high school together, Hanlim Arts High School in Seoul, and were friends then. They weren't long-term friends, but they would have casual conversations together if there was ever a spare moment. By graduation day, Ilhoon was already part of BTOB, a group which Jaeyoon took a liking to, and Jaeyoon was an accepted SM trainee. Months later, when she had the time, she attended a concert for BTOB, and managed to score backstage passes, where she met Ilhoon again, and because he recognised her, got to have yet another casual conversation with him after the performance. After this, they saw each other around now and then, and since Jaeyoon became an idol herself, she had decided she would try and see him again, because seeing him perform both live and on tv made her heart flutter.

did they ever meet: Jaeyoon and Sehun only met once Jaeyoon became a trainee under SM Entertainment. When the EXO boys came down to meet and greet the new trainees, Sehun spotted Jaeyoon in among them all as the one who stood out the most to him. Whilst the others mingled, he came over to her, and started to talk with her. He did this every time EXO got a spare moment to visit the trainees, and eventually became friends with Jaeyoon. Jaeyoon began liking Sehun, but she refused to say anything of it, in fear of both rejection and anti-fans, because there would be some way for her revelation to become wide-spread news. She keeps her feelings bottled up, but what she doesn't realise is that despite his awkward behaviour, Sehun likes her too.
