( character traits ) : alluring, gentle, warm, manipulative, vengeful.

( personality ) :
ling has very strong maternal instincts. she likes to baby all her acquaintances of younger age, especially if they are cute, small, and baby-faced. she is mature and a good listener as well as good at making people open up to her. naturally, she's good at keeping secrets as well (which proves to be useful whenever her dark side strikes). she usually makes a first impression of someone kind and warm so people easily likes her. she is quick to lend support or help to a friend in need. she always has a smile on her face and is rarely seen angry or sad.

ling is raised like a princess, and thus acts like one. not in the way that a spoilt rich kid does, but a generous and poised princess does. she walks and talks with grace. she couldn't curse to save her life, and she always has an optimistic view in life. though she comes from a wealthy background, she believes in chasing dreams and doesn't simply laze around; though she does love shopping and spending big chunks of her parents' money, especially on clothes and being pretty.

she has a passion (or is it ? *gasp*) for fashion and cosplays, and likes to subtly persuade her younger acquiantances to dress up in something cute. she'd later take pictures of them as keepsake and takes pleasure from seeing it. it's like a grown up version of playing barbie. other than fashion, ling is also very interested in hospitality industry, mainly restaurants. her gentle manner of speech and kind demeanor also easily fools people into doing her favors; like lending her an umbrella on a rainy day, or fetch her a glass of water. when someone calls her out for that, she would simply takes back her demands, laughs it away and plays innocent.

she might seem wise, gentle and kind, but she is not without her dark side. ling especially can not tolerate customers who mistreat the girls, and will get her revenge in the most subtle way possible. one day she might simply charges extra for every little thing that eventually totals up to a huge debt, the other she might serves a special service of 'Lovey Dovey Moe Wasabi Soup!'. she also hates bullies. the huge stash of secrets and pictures in her hands also serve as blackmail material when the time in need comes. just remember, vengeful she is, she never does anything without a smile.  

( background ) :
ling comes from a wealthy background. her father is a successful figure in the hotel industry, while her mother is a fashion designer. the both of them met in china, married, and lived there until ling reaches seven years old. her father finds a business opportunity in japan and moved there with the whole family ever since. ling's mother on the other hand, opened a lolita boutique in shinjuku which is a major hit amongst the cosplayers in the area. her parents were a big influence in ling's interest in fashion and hospitality industry. 

ling's personality is strongly influenced by her mother, shaped by her father's loving and virtuous traits. because ling is an only child, she can be a bit headstrong and yet independent and wise. she also craves for some sibling love, mainly younger siblings, which causes her to be keen into making friends with younger people. her father's vision as a successful businessman and diligent working ethic influences ling to be level headed and humble. ling is very filial towards her parents, at the same time has a bff-like relationship with her mother. her parents are very supportive towards her ambition. ling dreams of opening her own restaurant one day, but for the moment, she's doing a lot of research and gaining experience in the industry.

( lifestyle ) : ling lives with her family in a luxurious mansion. she is a recent graduate in bachelor's degree of hospitality and tourism management. she likes to go around by public transportations, because she thinks it's romantic, though she does enjoy being driven by the family's driver from time to time. her personal financial sources would be from her work at the cafe and the pocket money given by her parents. she has her own maid at home to take care of everything, from her meals to housekeeping. she goes shopping after her working hours (which means very often) to buy pretty clothes for herself, or really cute clothes/accessories to be put on her younger 'sisters'.

◦ when she is angry, she always have a moment to mentally picture herself striking an imaginary whip. sometimes the other maids can 'see' the mental picture too /shudders. also, she is rarely seen being angry, even if she does, her face turns completely dark for like 0.2 seconds before she smiles again. whoever unfortunate enough to see it might think s/he is imagining things anyways because it happens so fast.

( personality ) : kyungsoo is honest and kind, but is easily a pushover. he earnestly leads his days as a student by studying, listening to his teachers, staying out of trouble and making his parents proud. he is very soft hearted. he cares for his friends and gentle with animals. he is having a hard time making friends at his new school because of the language barrier. he speaks very choppy japanese, and eventually becomes a bully target.

he doesn't believe in violence, and thinks that things will only get worse if he fights back. he also has low self-esteem which troubles him in making new friends or standing up for justice. after he meets ling, he gradually turns matured and braver.

( how did you two meet? ) : it was a heavy downpour. ling was standing under a bus stop, enjoying the rain. a bus stopped. there weren't much people inside but  a bunch of high school boys. they were laughing and kicked a kid out of teh bus when the door opened. that boy fell onto the sidewalk. he was kyungsoo. he had bruises all over his face (probably his body too) and he could barely got up. ling crouched in front of him, holding an umbrella above them and gently dab his wet face with her handkerchief. afterwards she invited him to the cafe and served him warm tea/coffee on the house.

ling thought he was really cute but pitiful, while kyungsoo fell in love with her at first sight.

( relationship ) : kyungsoo becomes a regular customer afterwards. ling becomes his confidant. he looks up at her while she treats him like a baby brother.

( how they act ) : they act like siblings. ling is particularly very attentive towards him and ask about his day every single day, even if that includes contacting him out of her working hours (when kyungsoo doesn't visit the cafe). kyungsoo has always been crushing on her from their first meeting, though ling develops her feelings towards kyungsoo until later. ling often offers advice on self-confidence and standing up for his belief. she is warm and kind towards him all the time. after they each realize their feelings for each other, kyungsoo turns bolder while ling becomes a little unsure and awkward around him.

( how did you find out about this job? ) : i saw a really small, cute girl dressed in a really adorable maid outfits. she's so tiny and cute i wished i could hold her in my arms and dress her up in my mother's lolita dresses and then maybe feed her some cupcakes... ahem. anyways, i secretly followed her (i guess that's just my instincts kicking up, not because u kind of hoped i could get to know her, oh, not at all) until she entered a very pretty maid cafe! i saw a job vacancy poster on the glass window of the cafe.

( why do you need this job? ) : coincidentally, i am very interested in cosplays and the hospitality industry. i dream of opening my own restaurant one day but i'm still not set on what kind of restaurant that would be. i want to gain experience first, right from the bottom.

( how do you feel about dressing up in costumes and themed events? ) : oh, it's really fun and i'm totally comfortable doing it! though of course, i enjoy dressing girls up more. i think i got it from my mother but i'm really good at making girls look pretty and really cute.

( how would you deal with a customer who was trying to harass you? ) : just smile and tells him nicely that his act is not acceptable. and then later maybe i would fix him my special 'lovey dovey moe wasabi soup!' while mentally whip him.

( of all the other workers, who do you get along best with? ) :
oh, i have no problem getting along with most people, especially the really cute ones like the moe blob and the magical otaku.
maybe the average wall flower too since she seems like she needs someone attentive to care for her.
the ice princess might be a bit problem but i have soft spots for this kind of character. people like her usually cares deeply for others, just that she is not good at showing it (awww♥).
when i feel lazy tired, i like to sit with the lazy foreigner and enjoys a one sided chat with her.
( and who do you not get along with? ) : uhm... *awkward laugh* the older senpai might be a little headache for me. i'm trying to keep all the girls to behave well, but she's urging otherwise. oh, dear *sigh*.

( what is your favourite manga and why? ) : i haven't read manga since high school, but i really like shojo stuffs from usami maki. she's good at addressing issues in mature relationship, but she's also good at making sweet, innocent, dokidoki teenage love stories♥ naruto, bleach, death note, fullmetal alchemist, all of it stopped half way, but i really enjoyed the storyline.

also, definitely kaichou wa maid sama! for me to bask in my inner hopeless romanticness. nana, but i stopped half way, not because i don't enjoy it anymore. i just stopped reading manga altogether since i got into university.

in elementary school, i used to read doraemon, dragon ball and slam dunk. i liked sailormoon the anime but didn't read the manga because my elementary self thought it was immoral^^;

( scene suggestions ) :
◦ ling whines about getting soap allergy on her hands so she could pass the dishwashing task to someone else. she could be successful at it, or not.

◦ one day kyungsoo fights back his bullies. he won but is badly injured. instead the hospital, he goes to the cafe to look for ling. he lost consciousness and falls towards ling. she quickly sent him to the hospital and is terrified at his condition. when he wakes up, even though in pain, he smiles when he sees that ling is still there, badly worried for him.

◦ kyungsoo asks her out for a date on valentines/random day. ling accepts, thinking it's just to keep his mood up. this is before she realizes her feelings for him.

◦ on his eighteenth birthday, kyungsoo requests to celebrate it with her. she agrees and they have a small celebration privately. kyungsoo confesses his feelings and kisses her. eversince, she keeps thinking about him to the point she messes up her daily chores, and could never look at him like a baby brother anymore.

◦ kyungsoo did great in his japanese exam and ling compliments him by giving him a pat on the head and a kiss on the cheek. this is also recommended to happen before kyungsoo's confession.

◦ ling spying on one of the maids' date, and squeals at how adorable they are.

◦ a makeover session on one of the maids led by ling.

◦ ling made kyungsoo/other maids taste her new recipe. it was horrible but kyungsoo kept a straight face in order to make a good impression.

◦ a heart to heart talk between ling and the ice princess or any other maids.

◦ ling hugging and caressing the cheek of the maid who dresses up in a cute outfit she brought for her.

◦ ling confides to her best friend, madoka about kyungsoo and asking for her advice.

◦ madoka visits the maid cafe, and unintentionally charms the maids there even though she absolutely looks like a feminine woman.

( comments/questions/etc ) : i think my app is quite lengthy, but i tried my best keeping up with your conditions (5-7 sentences per paragraph). hope you have fun reviewing it^^ i hope ling doesn't sound like a creepy pedo. even if she does, she just genuinely cares for younger friends whom she thinks as younger siblings♥♥♥
