I'm not sure if I addressed this back January; I don't think I talked about it at all lol. But I will share. Around early January (around 2nd or 3rd), my assistant manager Nellie was in a bad car accident. It was to the point she had to take time off from work. This really worried me because she's one of the sweetest and fun-loving people I have ever met; she was the one that hired me and we bonded instantly lol. Well, I when I heard of the accident, my first reaction was, "Omg! Is she alright?! What happened?!" I was relieved to find out she was but got injured and will be away while she recovers. While she was away, it just wasn't the same; she had this infectious energy and happiness that would help me through my day when I worked. I never had anyone have wasn't a friend or family member have that much of an influence on me; she was like a happy virus that you couldn't help but love. Well, when I came into work, I peeked into the file maintenance office that she sometimes will sit and do work; I saw that she was there, with a back brace but she was actually there! We have an inside joke with one another in reference to the TV show "The Big Bang Theory" and I would say "Bazinga" to her and she would say it right back at me; then she gave me the nickname Bazinga lol. Well, I was so happy to see her, I said, "Bazinga! Hi, Nellie!" Turning on her seat, she smiles her signature cute smile and says, "Hi, Bazinga, how are you?" That totally made my day! I'm just so happy she is back. She's doing a lot better but has to wear a back brace. I just needed to share this with my chingus! <3
