/ SCIENCE STORY

It was a glacial cold night, it wasn't snowing, but it was raining instead.  The clock was ticking rapidly, tick tock tick tock.  A mouse scurried along the bookshelf, making mini footstep noises.  The sound of rain drops inundating the ground way below.   She placed her book down and pushed up her glasses.  She placed her bookmark into the book and closed it securely, as if leaving it open would cause creatures to come out of it, she was frightened of this theory ever since she finished reading the Inkheart trilogy by Cornelia Funke.  She silently stood up and left the room, closing the door while it creaks silently behind her.

"What are you doing up so late, Marie Anne?"  She froze.  It was a voice she could always remember.  Her mother's voice was heavenly and soft, whenever she says something it was as if she was singing a sweet melodic lullaby, unlike Marie Anne's voice which was squeaky and high-pitched.  It wasn't as heavenly as her mother's but it was close enough.
"I-I uh was just heading to the toilet."  Luckily her excuse was approved only because the toilet was inside the room Marie Anne likes to call her library.
Her mother nodded and went back into her room.
That was lucky, Marie Anne thought as she hurried to her room, she was not yet tired.  She fidgeted in her bed, tossing and turning around.  She could hear the tiny little details she wouldn't normally hear during the riot of the day.  Marie Anne could hear the rain drip down, making miniature splashes as it hits the surface of an object.  Slowly, while listening to the clock ticking and the raindrops splashing, she fell into a short slumber.

                                                     -

Marie Anne awoke the next morning.  She wandered around her house to get her books ready for school.  Marie attended a Christian school, she found the bible subject appealing because it was mainly reading.
"I'll be leaving now mum!"  Marie called to her mother across the hallway.
"Okay!"  She heard her mother reply back, as usual, her mother would either be washing dishes or doing the laundry.  Marie Anne stepped out of the house and closed the door securely.  She wouldn't want anyone to walk into her house and murder her mother.  Marie began to walk to the bus stop.  There were sounds of birds chirping around her, making an alluring melody as she walks.  All around her were aromas of breakfast, mostly cherry pies and apple pies.  A bicycle bell rang at her as the bike dashed past her, the cyclist turned around and waved.  "Morning Marie!"
"Morning Sir!"  Marie Anne called back and kept walking towards the bus stop.  The bus was already there, she quickly made a run for it, the door was just closing.  Luckily, she made it in time.
"Excuse me."  Marie Anne spoke loudly across the bus, "coming through.. oh oops! I'm so sorry let me pick that up for you."  Finally, Marie Anne got to her spot, which was at the end of the bus, on the far left corner, but once she got there, a young man around her age was already seated in her spot.
"Um.. excuse me um.. guy sitting in my seat..?"  Marie said awkwardly.    She noticed the features on his face, his eyes were chocolate brown, they were beautifully colored.  His hair was black and they were in curls.  It looked fluffy and soft.  She wanted to just run her hands through it's fluffiness.  She adored cute things.  The guy looked up.  "I-uh.. may I sit next to you?"  The guy just nodded and went back to tapping on his phone, after he finished, he looked up.
"My name's Mike, whats yours?"  He smiled at her kindly, slightly tilting his head to the right.
"I'm Marie Anne.  Just call me Marie."  Marie smiled back warmly while fixing her backpack which was falling off her back.  She noticed that he was wearing the same school uniform as hers. Ahh, he must be the new transfer student, she thought to herself, why don't I just ask him?  "Um....Mike?"
"Mmm?"  Mike replied, not taking his eyes off his phone.
"Could you just maybe be our new transfer student?"
Mike nodded.
"Oh thats great.  Your in our class."
He looked up.  "Oh.  Thats great, I have someone to talk to now."  He teased.
"Yea.  I could show you around if you want."
"Thanks.  That'll be helpful."

                                                     -

"Now we have bible.  It's my favorite subject."  Marie smiled at Mike while walking to bible.
"Oh really?  Me too!  I just love sitting there and listening to the teacher read while I fall asleep."  He teased again, Marie Anne giggled at his joke.
"I just love to read."  Marie said.
"Oh. Sorry, I was insulting reading just then.."  Mike scratched the back of his head, Marie thought it was pretty cute.

                                                     -

They walked to bible together.
"Marie Anne?"  The teacher, Miss Fortunate, called out.
"Present."  Marie called out across the large classroom.
As usual, Marie was always last on the class role, the teacher turned to Marie.  "Would you like to read Revelation 19?"
"You know I would agree to reading anytime."

"19 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:

2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great , which did corrupt the earth with her ion, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

3 And again they said, Alleluia And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.

4 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.

6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.

17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh."

Marie realized what she read out and quickly closed .  Reading that, straight after school, she hurriedly made her way to the library, leaving Mike behind, totally confused.

She walked to the counter and asked for counter number 9.
She quickly logged on and went to google.  She hastily typed in “Revelation 19 Jesus Returns”  Marie clicked on a random website, keen to know what it was all about.  She read until she saw some interesting facts.

“Acts 2:20 ESV
The sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day.”

I opened a new tab and typed in “blood red moon.”  It gave information about a lot of things.  One saying the red moon was the called the Hunters' Moon because of some war that ended a while ago.
Another saying its another name for a eclipse.
Marie Anne scroll down some more, eagerly wanting to learn more.
Ah!  I found it, she thought to herself

She clicked on 'Does Red Blood Moon Predict Jesus' Return in 2015?'
Blood moon eclipses: 2nd Coming in 2015?
Minister uses NASA forecasting to study signals of Jesus’ return
Will Jesus Christ return to Earth in the year 2015?

And can studying NASA’s website provide evidence for such a scenario?

A minister who promotes the Old Testament roots of Christianity suggests a rare string of lunar and solar eclipses said to fall on God’s annual holy days seven years from now could herald what’s come to be known as the “Second Coming” of Jesus.

“God wants us to look at the biblical calendar,” says Mark Biltz, pastor of El Shaddai Ministries in Bonney Lake, Wash. “The reason we need to be watching is [because] He will signal His appearance. But we have to know what to be watching as well. So we need to be watching the biblical holidays.” “There are no more of these for the rest of the century.”

Marie read to herself, she scrolled down and kept reading.

So while Jesus would not return with a red moon, notice that the red moon appears just before the Day of the Lord begins–possibly as soon as the evening before (and perhaps up to a month or so before, cf. Revelation 8:1). Notice that a blood moon is also tied into the Day of the Lord in the Old Testament as well:

31 The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. (Joel 2:31)

Marie smiled at this information, she was so into it, Marie was always a person who was scared of death, she wanted Jesus to take her with him, she wanted happiness, she wanted to be free.

She read the next part.

But either way, while Jesus will return, it will not be in 2015.  Jesus will not return prior to 2019, and even that is too early.

She saddened a little, though she hoped she would soon learn to get in contact with the Lord himself.  Marie switched off the computer.

                                                     -

After doing millions of research about Jesus' Return, Marie Anne finally found a way for the Lord to finally accept her.
Marie closed her eyes, placed her right hand over her heart and raised her left hand.  She began to open , saying each word, "Lord, I thank You for Your love and Your mercy, thank You, Lord, for the word that has reached my heart today.  Father, I ask for Your forgiveness.  Forgive me.  Wash me with Your precious blood.  Write my name in the Book of Life.  Accept me as Your child, Lord.  Right now, I forgive anyone that I had not been able to forgive.  I renounce to my lack of forgiveness.  I renounce all things that have hindered Your flow, and I ask You to transform me and to fill me with Your presence every day.  Thank You, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; in the Name of Jesus, Amen."

Marie felt a tingle in her skin as she read it aloud.  She felt whole, she felt like the Lord and God was really with her.  She felt protected, secure and safe.  "I want to open up to you like everyone else does, you talk to so many people, and yet, I can't even reach you.  Why is that, Lord?" ' There was no reply, Marie wanted to weep, she felt abandoned, lonely and unloved.
A voice appeared in her head, giving her Jeremiah 33:3, "Call unto Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not."
She stopped what she was doing and looked out her large, decorated window, "Did you just speak to me, Lord?"
"I am always with you."  I heard Him say again.
Marie smiled and started pouring tears of happiness.  "Daughter, do not weep, for I am here by your side."
Marie pinched her arm to make sure she was not dreaming, once she realizes that she wasn't and decided to start speaking with the Lord.  "I heard you've been preparing a new world for us Holy people."
Though she could not see the Lord, it felt like He was nodding.  "Yes daughter, I am."
