Reason of Rivalry: The reason why Hara and Sooyeon became rivals was simply because of a misunderstanding. When Hara saw Sooyeon and Sungjae chatting together happily, she became jealous because she thought Ilhoon and Sooyeon were dating. After Sooyeon left the building, Hara(along with her bestfriend,Nicole) came over and they both slapped Sooyeon because she talked to Sungjae. Sooyeon also finds Nicole and Hara too girly and too weird. She hates how they're's over-confident about themselves and she seriously loathes their persistence. Even though she tried to tell Hara countless times that Sungjae was her friend, Hara still hated Sooyeon.

How you got into cube?: Sooyeon was inspired by her brother to become an idol, she trained everyday at home, at school and during her free time. then one day she was in the mall and she saw this really huge crowd of people, she was curious to know what was happening so she asked the boy standing next to her and he told her it was a kpop cover competition where she had to pass five rounds and the first prize winner gets to become a trainee at the company hosting the competiton and the second prize winner gets to spend the day with the guest idol.
excited she joined with the intention of winning the second prize because she wanted to go audition at YG Ent. Sooyeon passed the danced, sing, and rapped then she showed some of her own talents in the first, second, third and fourth round by the time she made it to the fith round she had to dance in a group. unfortunately she didn't have a group of her own so she was disqualified, feeling sad she made her way to the exit of the mall but was stopped by the CEO of Cube Ent.the company hosting the competion.
He asked her to sit and have a talk with him, he told her that he enjoyed watching her performance and would like her to be a trainee at Cube but Sooyeon delcined and said she was going to audition at YG instead, nodding he got up and handed her is business card saying 'if you change your mind give me a call' and left. She went home and thought about what he said, she called her brother and talked with him about it and he told her 'if I have my little sister as competion then it would be fun' so the next day she called the CEO and told him she would like to be apart of the Cube family and he welcomed her.
Trainee Life: Literally full of ups and downs. She didn't have a lot of friends and felt lonely in her journey to the big stage. Sooyeon was there by her own, training hard everyday and even at night. She wanted to be the best in everything. Often was bullied because of her shyness after training by some rude and jealous female trainees, but didn't give up because of this.
