This is for one, Isabelle's Japanese heritage, even though she would rather be called with her own name, but it is stuck with her since freshman. This is also due to Isabelle's reputation when she enrolled, known as the girl who 'burn' her bully, not really a pleasant and welcoming portfolio for a newbie).

Isabelle is someone who is a typical persona for those who are born under the star sign Taurus. She is a half Korean and half Japanese and was born and raised in Yokohama, Japan until she was 7 when her father who is Korean decides to move back home to Seoul to open up another branch of his restaurant; The Heart and Seoul. A somewhat typical Bull, Isabelle is on a quieter side of persona that fits the Bull typical character. Isabelle is also observant and at times if not almost ignorant and distant, always finds herself being labelled as Snobbish or Unfriendly which is almost true especially to those who are not close to her or those who are outside of her circle of friends. But once you get to know her, Isabelle is a well-rounded, cheery and a helpful friend that anyone could ask for. Isabelle is also an artsy girl; someone who is prone to artistic matters. This can be a wide range of discipline from singing to writing to baking to the art of archery as well as creating a fiery mayhem (sometimes) or the plain 'ol art-of-sleeping-in-class-without-getting-caught-by-the-teacher. The cold and distant facade that she puts up is a wall to protect herself from getting emotionally hurt by others; hides a playful nature and the socialite that she truly is. She is classy but not overbearingly choosy on other things but she can be picky about the kind of friends that she is friends with. She is friendly with everyone else but those who can be really considered as close friends are those who have known her a while. She dislikes the idea of not having the chemistry between friends as she believes that if she doesn't click with someone, she'd rather keep a safe distance herself than be pretentious. She will only keep you as close as she wants you to.
Patience and perseverance is other key words when it comes to Isabelle. If one wants to be close or befriend her, it will take her quite some time to acknowledge friendly gesture as most of the time she would simply refuse them by being ignorant. Not that she wanted to be rude, but Isabelle finds it difficult to acclimatize herself with presence of strangers into her life. Plus she chooses carefully those whom she is friends with for 'the chemistry' plays an important role between her and others. If she doesn't feel right or feel like there is no connection or compatibility, she would make no effort in putting an act or even try to pretend to be friendly. She would never be rude to simply diss people out of her life. She would rather keep a safe distance. But once you are accepted into the friend zone or when you are lucky enough to pass the best friend zone, one would be surprised Isabelle to be furiously loyal and her blunt thought (which most of the time left unspoken) expressed towards you. She will offer you a piece of mind if she finds/feels that you are doing something that is not right.
Her temperament is something else. Isabelle most of the time keeps it cool even when she is under pressure. It takes a great amount of effort to tick her off or make her angry, but it is not really advisable to try and test her patience. Once it reaches the limit and her will of control over her anger wears thin, all hell break lose. Isabelle can really do a serious damage; one heck of a fiery tantrum that you would never wish to witness, ever. Isabelle don't do revenge instantly but she holds grudge so, be aware. Apart from the ability of unleashing one hell of a tantrum, one would be more than relieved to find a shy-smiling Isabelle greeting others in school - well that is most of the time on her good days. Well, most days are fairly good for Isabelle especially Friday, where she would look forward to sneaking out at night just to hang out by the beach with her friends or one of her partner in crime; Tiffany Hwang.
Isabelle is a little above average kind of student being most her grade are B's bordering to A's, with exception of languages and her own power. Crafts or arts are also her strong points and she excels in sports too namely; archery, shooting (firearms handling matters) as well as art of sword fights.
Isabelle too can be shy, a personality that emits especially around the ones she is inclined to. Since she goes to an all-girl school, this trait is almost non-existent in the eyes of her fellow school mates.

History~
Family background:
Isabelle was only aware of her power when she was around 10 years old. It was by pure accident the first time when she set fire to the mount of dry leaves on her house back yard, a small one thinking that the match that it on the igniter finally worked. Then there was another incident when she saw smoke emitting from the palm of her hand when she rubbed them together. She thought maybe it was due to the cold weather but it wasn't like she breathed through hands as the smoke became a little too prominent for her liking. She stopped immediately trying to forget and pretend that it didn't happen, nothing happened. Then there's also an incident when she unknowingly burn to ashes a crumpled piece of paper the she fisted due to repressed anger when some kids pick on her.
The time when she realized and finally admit to herself that it was nothing involving other elements nor was it just coincidence that her mind is playing tricks on her and that something was going on with her like perhaps that she probably have some sort of supernatural power was during her co-ed elementary school years. It came to be when a girl with her clique in Isabelle's old co-ed elementary school decided to test Isabelle's patience when they chose to pick on her after so long. Isabelle was bullied at one point in time by that same girl and her clique due to the fact that she thought the boy she had the hots for was interested in Isabelle when in actual truth, it was all a coincidence, him being there at the same time and Isabelle just happens to be at the wrong place at the wrong time giving out the wrong idea to the girl. The guy didn't even know Isabelle to begin with and they were just school mates that attended the same school.
So, this girl decided to push it too far that time around and start to gang up on Isabelle with her girls. Isabelle was slapped quite hard that she tumbled backwards and that's when Isabelle snapped when the girl called Isabelle an ugly . Isabelle had enough and she stood up, grabbing the girl by the hair gripping them tight in her hand when all of a sudden a fire appears from the palm of Isabelle's hand and burnt the girl's hair! The rest of the story went on with complaints being filed by the bullies who had reported the matter to their respective parents and Isabelle's parents were called. The charge against Isabelle was dropped since they didn't have concrete evidence that Isabelle did it. They have come to a conclusion that it was most likely a prank pulled by the students. Isabelle later quit attending the school as her parents fear that the environment in the school may no longer be conducive for Isabelle.
Isabelle came clean and admits to her parents about what was accused of her was actually true and she did burn the girls' hair, but not intentionally. Her parents were dumbfounded. Initially it was pretty hard for her family to really accept what had happened and what Isabelle had was something close to even being real. It sounded nothing short of crazy. They thought that Isabelle was crazy or they were crazy and even thought the possibility Isabelle had secretly practiced witchcraft but Isabelle tried hard and long to convince her parents that there's nothing wrong with her and that she does not practice witchcraft.
Isabelle found out about the school through a dream. She dreamt that she was on fire and she panicked feeling the scorching burn caused by the fire when a stranger whom face she could not see offered her a helping hand, pulling her through a walking path that lead them both to a gated vicinity. The carvings on the steel gate read 'EXO Boarding School'. The stranger then stepped forward into the gated ground as the gate opens. Without saying a word, Isabelle followed along, knowing and understanding by heart that she was welcomed there and that she should be there. As she stepped into the gated area, her once scorching burning body felt a little better, cooler and she felt that the flame was much more under control and that she did not felt like it was hurting her at all. She instinctively book a flight to Jeju, without knowing why she was doing it but she felt like she needed to, the very next day.
Friends before you got enrolled to EXO Boarding School:
SunYe/20/5/Yes, through letters they wrote to each other. Isabelle knows now it's a modern world they live in and there is such a thing called cell phones and all but Isabelle likes to write letters much more. It is more personal and leaves people anticipating for the reply to come and the next one to come.
DooJoon/25/3/ Yes, via texts when he's not so busy. DooJoon works all across the globe as an entertainment news journalist. Most of the time he will be in America as the headquarters office is there. He would be a gossiping buddy to Isabelle as well as a very kind and caring Oppa.
Friends in EXO Boarding School:
Tiffany Hwang Miyoung/20/4/Light/5th Grade/ Tiffany is a bubbly and cheerful girl with a positive outlook in life. Her ability to lighten up the gloomy mood often found itself useful with Isabelle. In fact, Tiffany bubbly-ness is so contagious it had rub off Isabelle, even though just a little. Tiffany of Fany, is talkative, playful (a character that match well with Isabelle's) often gets them into endless mischief in which luckily they were able to steer clear from getting caught or punished for that matter.
Jenny Park Bom/20/4/Flight/5th Grade/ Bom, like Tiffany is a cheerful and polite young lady andis a person who loves corn very much she practically have them at/with every meal. Bom along with Tiffany, Gayoon and Isabelle are partners in crime, often with Bom's flight ability would be put into use for mischief. Bom previously studied music before enrolling in EXO boarding school thus it is only natural that they enjoy karaoke session together.
Heo Gayoon/20/4/Water/4th Grade/Gayoon in terms of supernatural powers is the total opposite of Isabelle, but is very much useful (in Isabelle's opinion) when she sense that Isabelle's fire would be causing unnecessary trouble. Other than that cooling effect onto Isabelle, don't let her (Gayoon) calm collected outer appearance fool you for Gayoon is quite the prankster herself.
Rivals in EXO Boarding School: Jang Sora/19/ Because Sora feels threatened with Isabelle's presence as well as capabilities in which Isabelle who is oblivious to Sora's insecurity takes no heed on it. At least not yet and at least when it doesn't involve a certain love interest.

Chanyeol is avery tall guy, lean body, an intimidating figure until that megawatt smile appears on that beautiful face of his, changes completely the perception of others have of him. His tall built and kind heart had earned him the nick 'Gentle Giant, well, only Mirae calls him that, secretly. Chanyeol is a very kind and warm towards others and he would talk a lot even though he had just met that someone or somebody for a very short span of time. He talks and can engage himself with other really well, genuinely and sincerely interested and as enthusiast as a curious little kid. His friendliness could make even the most akward situation feel less awkward. He cracks joke and is not afraid to laugh at himself/make a fool out of himself, not because he doesn't take himself seriously, it is because he believes that there is always a silver lining in things.
As friendly as he is, Chanyeol is rather shy and feels awkward when it comes with girls. He doesn't really know how to get around the situation involving a girl, thus he is really clueless most times.
He would be a little slow on the initiation or getting hints of signs of flirting as he himself isn't much of a flirty person. Thus, it may be hard for any girl to get his attention hooked, unless he notices the girl first.
How do you act around each other:
With quite the opposite personality being that Isabelle is more on the quieter side and Chanyeol being more talkative, Isabelle find it rather uncomfortable in trying to be friendly with someone whom she barely knows. Thus Isabelle decides to keep it simple and only answer questions as and when deem needed. But Isabelle cannot deny the fact that internally she feels much more comfortable with the presence of Chanyeol for whatever reason that is still a mystery to her. Isabelle pointed out to herself that maybe, chemistry-wise, they were or at least she thought of herself compatible with the likes of Chanyeol. Adding up to that is Chanyeol is a very kind and caring person which is odd in Isabelle's eyes as they are perfectly stranger to each other. Thus, Isabelle decided to mirror his kindness with kindness and that super adorable smile is one heck of a smile that is very contagious that Isabelle finds it hard not to smile in return. One thing lead to the other and in Isabelle's eyes, Chanyeol's kindness had nurtured and encourages Isabelle's very -affectionate side to reveal itself which is rare as to the fact that she and Chanyeol are not even that close. Chanyeol haven't even passed over that fine line of friends and close friends zone at all, yet Isabelle finds herself flirting so subtly with Chanyeol. Chanyeol who on the other hand is rather shy when it comes to approaching ladies on a more romantic stage thus is dumbfounded when he catches bits and hints of the subtle flirting.
How you want to meet him:
Isabelle met Chanyeol during her Supernatural class' session when Chanyeol slipped in as 'one of the teacher'. Isabelle being indifferent towards other and in her own world didn't noticed him thus she was not aware of his presence, but the other students did. Some were surprised to see a handsome stranger/new teacher joining the class. He had his eyes set on her(Isabelle) the moment he walked in but she was too dense to take any notice of her surroundings.
It was only when the teacher asked students to perform their power controlling ability that Isabelle notices Chanyeol. How? Through archery. He had exhibited an example of the supernatural power control with the tip of the arrow lit up with fire and shoots the target; an exact same trick that Isabelle (secretly) loves to do. The fact that Chanyeol hits bullseye with all 5 arrows got her attention and she took it up as a challenge when Chanyeol turned to her and smirks.

Sehun is an overall nice guy who is able to be comfortable with people around her. At times he is pretty much reserved but once he warms up, he would be at ease with his surroundings and people around him. He can carry conversations and in the process makes people around him comfortable.
Although at imes his face may be giving off that aloof look or poker face, he can be flirty if he wants to be noticed. But he would not make it too 'in-your-face' obvious but he would make sure his message would get across.
How do you act around each other:
An ignorant girl with a determined guy can make a really interesting story. While Mirae is almost oblivious to Sehun's existence, however soon his friendliness and not-so-subtle ways of dropping hints and flirting soon gets his intentions clear across to Mirae. But being a distant and carefully selective person she is, Mirae doesn't give in easily. She doesn't simply open her doors to just about anyone who comes knocking in. Seemingly things are pretty much hopeless for anything even the tiny bit of friendship to even bloom between them. But once Mirae acknowledges him and his unceasing determination, things might take a turn for the better and perhaps a budding romance might just be on its way, making it's path swiftly and surely into their hearts.
