Personality: She's outgoing, bold, lively and full of spirit. There's never a dull moment when she's around. She can be quite random at times and has been known to burst into song here and there. She has a tendency of speaking her mind even if it's rude or brutally honest. Though she does try to be not so hurtful with her words. She's not the one to beat around the bush and likes to just come out with it. She likes making sassy remarks A LOT which has earned her one of her nicknames. Even though she's cheeky, she is very devoted towards her friends, and family. Haneul is also a thoughtful and open-minded individual despite her sass. She sees the glass half full. She can be quite determined when she has her mind set on something, some would say she's stubborn. She's devoted to her career and doesn't take it for granted. Most of time she is cooperate to work with. If not cooperating then something is really wrong. Same goes if she doesn't make any cheeky comments.
She can be a total germ a phobe at times. Can't go a day without showering. Washes her hands a lot especially before eating and after fan-signing events and she always carries hand sanitizer. She does most of the cleaning in the dorm but she won't clean the members' bedrooms. She likes doing the laundry because she finds it relaxing. She tends to act motherly towards others earning her the nickname Umma. She hates getting up early and is usually the last one to wake up. When she is tired she tends to behave like a zombie minus the flesh eating part. But if you annoy her when she's in this state she will bite.
Background: Haneul has always love singing even when she was a little girl. She started ballet lessons when she was seven. She then moved to hip-hop at the age of 11. Her mother is always very supportive of her and even her Father too. Her Father loves to spoil her but Haneul doesn't really like it. She rather work for what she wants. But gifts once in awhile is alright. When she was 16 her father got them plane tickets for Barcelona, Spain. But Haneul worked a part-time job so she would have spending money.
When her younger brother was born Haneul loved to baby-sit him and take him to the park or for ice cream. She loves Chin-Mae dearly and always tries to make time for him. He wanted to dancing so Haneul started teaching him here and there. Chin-Mae looks up to Haneul and confides in her.
But things for her were not always so great for her. She was bullied a lot in school and soon became an outcast. Then things took a turn for the worst. Rumors started up about her, very unpleasant ones, that soon spend to the internet. Rumors like how she was ugly and stupid. Haneul isn't really math smart. She has a learning disability called Dyscalculia. That's why all the bullying and rumors started. When she was 15 her so called friend let it spill when they were in math class and the 'mean' girls over heard.
Once she graduated she decided to look that all behind her. She hates talking about her school years and math and avoids it at all costs. It's a very sore spot. She decided to put all her effort and focus in dancing, rapping and singing.

Relationship: They are really close. They're like sisters. They love having eating contests. Once they both ate 6 inch pizzas, one pizza per girl. After they were done they were still hungry for more pizza! When they're together things get loud and epic.
How they met: Haneul had had enough of the stupid diet that trainees were forced to follow so one evening she snuck out of the dorm and headed to the nearest restaurant which happened to be a pizza place and that's where she bumped into Sooyoung. The SNSD member had in line. Of course Haneul knew who it was right away but kept it under wraps much to Sooyoung's delight. Sooyoung explained why she was here and strangely it was very similar to her reason. The girls chatted and even sat at the same table. They discovered that the two had a lot in common.

How they met: During the trainee years. One day she was running late for class and as she turned a corner she bumped into Key. She apologized to him before running off for class. But she didn't realize that she had ended up dropping her sketch book that was full of drawings such as cartoons, anime and manga styled creations. Key picked it up and the next day he was waiting at the same spot but a litte bit earlier hoping to ran into her again so he could return the book. She showed up and thanked him. They exchanged numbers.

Personality: He's very conservative person. The member with the most aegyo. He is very emotional and sensitive guy.

Tao is often bullied by other Korean trainees because he got to debut in less than a year being a trainee. How they met: Haneul was walking through the hallway in SM Ent while reading a Dragon Ball Z manga. She was so focused on the book that she bumped into Taeyeon. She apologized and they both realized that they loved Dragon Ball Z.

Personality: The best dancer and the fastest runner of SNSD. The other members revealed that she's the mood maker and also the funniest in SNSD. She collects cute and colorful stationery and stickers. She hits people and tell secrets when drunks. The members also revealed that the maknaes, Yoona and Seohyun, are her usual drunk 'victims'.
Relationship: Hyoyeon always makes her smile and laugh, never fails to They like to drink together. When they're drunk and Hyoyeon starts hitting people, Haneul starts hitting Hyoyeon to get her to stop.
How they met: Hyoyeon ended up teaching a couple of trainee hip hop dance classes that Haneul was in.

She's extremely grateful for her fans and you can always feel her sincerity.
Reason they're rivals: They're not really rivals. She doesn't really hate CL. It's more like she is envious of her. She believes that CL is flawless as a woman. She wishes to feel more confident of herself and to be more like CL. Haneul is strangely less bold and outgoing when CL is around.

Relationship: Likes to practice her English with him. Their are a lot of awkward moments between them. She has a major crush on him. There is an undeniable attraction between the two.
Have they met?: Was in a photo shoot with all 12 members of EXO. But in the photo, her face was never shown. The photos were a lot like this and this. Haneul was very cooperative to work with and got along great with EXO. Though most of the photos that her and Kris starred in they were in really close couple positions like this and this.
