Hi guys, actually I am not a Korean tbh.. But I do teach it to those who wanna learn for free..leave your comments if u wanna..I'd be glad to help anyone .. I'll put up a master post later if ppl request for it.. :3

Lesson1

Adjectives:

Rule 1:

아름답다- areumdapta - to be beautiful

새롭다- saeropta - to be new
어둡다- eodoopta - to be dark
어렵다- eoryeopta - to be difficult

밉다 - mipta - to hate

All roots ending with vowels a, o, oo, eo, and i before '-ㅂ다' fall under this rule.

first take off the '-ㅂ다'

아름답다-----> 아름다
새롭다-----> 새로
어둡다-----> 어두
어렵다-----> 어려
밉다-----> 미

Then add '-운', hence:

아름다운- areum.da.oon- beautiful (adj)
새로운- saero.oon - new (adj)
어두운- eodoo.oon- dark (adj)
어려운- eoryeo.oon- difficult (adj)
미운- mi.oon- hated (adj)

아름다운 장미꽃 - areum.da.oon jangmi.kkot

어려운 상황- eoryeo.oon sanghwang

미운 사람- mi.oon saram

Rule 2:

많다- manhta - to be many
짧다- jjalta - to be short/brief
작다- jakta - to be small/little/undersized
좋다- jota - to be good/favorable/fine

When a consonant sound precedes '다':

1. Remove '다'
2. Whatever's left after removing da, add '-은'

Kaya gnito
많다-----> 많은 ma.neun many (adj)
짧다-----> 짧은 jjal.beun short/brief (adj)
작다-----> 작은 ja.geun small/little/undersized (adj)
좋다-----> 좋은 jo.weun good/favorable/fine (adj)

많은 학생들- ma.neun haksaengdeul
many students
짧은 시간- jjal.beun shigan
a short/brief time
작은 책- ja.geun chaek

좋은 기분- jo.weun gi.boon

Rule 3:

for those ending in 'eu' vowel sound directly before '-다'

나쁘다- nappeuda - to be bad/delinquent
예쁘다- yeppeuda - to be pretty
크다- keuda - to be big/huge

remove the '다'
Whatever's left, add 'ㄴ'

Like this:

나쁘다---> 나쁘---> 나쁜 nappeun bad (adj)
예쁘다---> 예쁘---> 예쁜 yeppeun pretty (adj)
크다---> 크---> 큰 keun big/huge (adj)

나쁜 놈- na.ppeun nom
