Meanwhile as I fend off a writer's block...

Here are some random drabbles I came up with.

(Includes non-Kpop related fandoms)

1 Of Mice and Men: Austlan Cashby [Alan Centric]
Problems (We Always Seem to Have Them and They Never Seem to Go Away)

They’ve been married for years and since that day, Alan hasn’t played guitar. He picks it up and notices it has managed to collect dust. He’s inundated with memories of him and Austin playing together but they’re mostly painful memories. Touring was generally enigmatic and he and Austin never failed to close the tour with a burdensome, open-ended relationship. Inevitably, something had to happen to them. Either of them would up. Either of them would end up being caught in bed with someone else. Everything about their old career was turbulent and he can almost feel that turbulence in a form of an electric shock that surges through him when he picks up his guitar and sets it on his lap.

His fingers are stiff as he slides his fingers up and down the neck of the guitar. He’s humming guitar riffs but not actually playing them. They’re all melodies from their own songs. He unconsciously begins playing something but his mind is elsewhere. All he could think about was Austin. Austin was never there. Physically, Austin was always elsewhere. He was probably with Gielle. Alan wishes he would stop coming to such conclusions so quickly but there were always problems. They were always cheating on each other. Sometimes Alan would pay people he knew to him.

He wonders why they got married. They loved each other once. But that was a long time ago and even then did they have a lot of problems. That doesn’t change, it seems. And everything’s so ed up that even their marriage has become a problem. But it won’t change because maybe they’re just holding out for hope that thing’s would change. And maybe they will. Someday.

2 U-Kiss: ElVin
Dancing in the Moonlight

Kevin likes dancing despite how often he insists he’s incompetent at it. Along with dancing, he also likes the night time. Kevin thinks night is the most aesthetically pleasing part of the day. The lights would be on and the stars would be out and the moon would shine beautifully.

So Eli decides to take him to the beach where the moon is most visible and the most beautiful, then asks Kevin to dance with him. When their hands are on each other as they engage in a slow dance, Eli doesn’t want Kevin to change. He wants Kevin forever.

SHINee: Key Centric
Can’t Change Even if I Tried

Key doesn’t think he’s being unfair because with all the unfairness he’s experienced, he justifies that he has every right to run away from home.

There were also many instances where Key would ignore Jonghyun for the sake of attention-seeking but when he ignores Jonghyun’s endless phone calls it’s because he doesn’t want to talk to him.

His face still hurts. The sting of his mother’s hand slapping him cruelly in the face still lingers. He’d do anything to be born like everyone else. But he can’t. It’s not his fault but, goddammit; everyone likes to tell him it is. Everyone tells him that he can just change. Everyone tells him that he can force himself to think like a boy. But what does everyone know about him? Nothing. He can’t change anything about himself. He can’t take away his and replace it with a . This is the way it is. This is the way he is.

Key can’t go anywhere else. He’s stuck because if he can’t change then he’d rather just end.

South Park: Style (yes I am a part of the SP fandom don't judge me)
Charades

Kyle hates Stan only because he could never claim him in public. Kyle would never be able to run into Stan’s arms and kiss him on the cheek without ever being called a . . He can’t even put an arm around Stan’s shoulders platonically without fatass calling him a . It’s ironic because he always viewed South Park as a safe haven but when he graduated from middle school and became a freshman he realised that things were a lot more complicated.

A lot of things changed—with the exception of Kenny’s perpetual poverty. Cartman wasn’t fat anymore but buff and unbelievably muscular—but he still loved his Kentucky Fried Chicken. Butters was still introverted and frightened of everything—still had that habit of rubbing his knuckles together when anxious or apprehensive—but even he had a girlfriend. Craig was still a major douche but the was a respectable number two in AP chemistry. Clyde wasn’t as much of a Neanderthal as he was in elementary school—he knew his five times tables at least—but he’s known as the most romantic guy in the whole wide universe—according to Bebe who was a cheerleader but not as daft and ditsy as you’d perceive.

Stan and Kyle were still the same—characteristically. The only difference is that when they were alone together they weren’t playing guitar hero or hanging at Starks Pond. They’d be cuddling in bed—most likely after ing. Kyle would be studying while lying in Stan’s arms—Stan who would be running his fingers through Kyle’s fiery red, bushy hair. Stan and Kyle now loved each other in a whole other way than when they were in elementary school. Stan had even bought him a ring, cheap metal, but still it meant so much to Kyle. It meant Kyle was his and Stan was Kyle’s.

But no one else knew about this. No one else would ever know. So Stan pretended to be Wendy’s boyfriend all through high school and she could kiss him in public and tell him that she loved him. But when they were finished making out in the hallway Stan would look at Kyle and Kyle would smile but his heart would still hurt—and Stan would sense that. But they could only acknowledge each other as they passed by in the hallway. Kyle could never publicly be Stan’s but their hearts would always be connected no matter what. And he guessed that was okay.

5 SNSD: TaengSic
Everything to Me

Taeyeon preferred it whenever Jessica was close by. She couldn’t live without her. Jessica would always say that she understood whenever Taeyeon would get into one of her sentimental stages and say, “You don’t understand how much I love you.” ‘I love you’ was never enough. Jessica was a part of her. Jessica owned Taeyeon’s heart. Jessica had every part of her and she didn’t even know it. Jessica was made for her in every single way and not just the way that her s fitted perfectly and felt perfect in Taeyeon’s hands.

When Jessica smiled at Taeyeon it did things to her heart that were sensational but always painful. Jessica would never be able to fathom what a mess of nothingness Taeyeon would be without her. Taeyeon wouldn’t be Taeyeon without her Jessica.
