When you first meet Hani, she can usually be seen with a smile on her face. She loves spreading her happiness to everyone around her and won't fail to make a MV set just a tad bit brighter. She isn't very shy when it comes to meeting new people and won't hesitate to introduce herself to you. However she dose tend to become shy when it comes to speaking with and idol of hers or someone she really likes. As for talking, she doesn't talk whole lot. She prefers listening over talking when she gets the chance. She havs very good flattering skills and witty comebacks though. 

Hani is very stubborn. Once she has her mind set to something, she has her mind set and won't change it unless proven wrong with tons of evidence. Usually her stubbornness will only involve her opinion. However when she doesn't like something, she won't hesitate to tell you either and will keep bugging you to do it a certain way. A stubborn perfectionist you can say. She has to be perfect with everything she does and won't stop until it is. Though if you insist that it be kept a certain way, Hani will eventually just go with the flow. But watch out if it turns out horrible, she'll probably rub it in your face that you were wrong and tease you about it forever.

As stated before, Hani is a happy person and will usually have a smile on her face, but that's really all just an act. Deep down inside she's is full of anxiety and worries about her life. She doesn't like to talk about this because well, it's personal and she just doesn't like to talk about herself. She's great at listening to others and giving them advice, but she can't take any of her advice, nor does she think anyone will want to listen to her endless rants of her life worries. This makes her keep all her feelings to herself until she reaches her breaking point. When she does break down, it will be one of two things, uncontrollable sobbing or unstoppable yelling. The only way to ever calm her down is to give her a pair of head phones with soothing songs or instrumentals, and leave her in her room for a while. She'll eventually calm down herself with enough time.

Hani was born in Daegu, South Korean to Kim Eunjo and Shin Bora. She grew up in a well off family being an only child, making her feel quite lonely at times.  She doesn't remember much of her live in Daegu though. When she turned five her parents moved back to Seoul, where they lived before they moved to Daegu.

When Hani started elementary she went to a public school for her kindergarden years. As she went into 1st grade her parents transferred her and her siblings to a private school to get a "better" education. I guess you can say it was somewhat better. Hani grew up well mannered and polite. During her 3rd year a Hani had to get braces. Braces, at the time, was an uncommon thing and she was made fun of for wearing them. Hani handled the bullying pretty well though. Her thoughts always stayed positive. The bullying soon ended as her bullies noticed she didn't care.

As middle school came Hani went back to a public school. She always preferred public schools over private ones just because of the amount of diverse people went there and because they weren't as strict. Hani soon had her braces removed and all was well. She wasn't a popular one, but she new many names and faces as she was elected student council president.

At a young age she grew interested in music and becoming a performer. Since she was 10 her dream was to become an idol and express herself through music. She was really interested and took dancing and singing lessons as a kid.
