I've never celebrated it. I've never had reason to. But I felt like I should tell all of you that love is important. If you love someone and you hold someone dear to you, you should keep them with you. Always. Tell them how you feel enough times. Call them all the time. Be clingy because maybe they need you to be clingy. Never let them out of your sight as far as possible. Always keep a watchful eye on their heart.

Because they might be silently suffering. And they might be thinking things you'd never expect them to. They might be thinking of doing stupid selfish idiotic things that will cause you and everyone they know horrible horrible pain that will never be cured. Don't wait till they're gone, don't wait till things go bad. Be there for them, harangue them for their feelings and opinions and always be kind to them. Always listen to the end.

Love with everything you're made of because you might never get the chance to some day. Some day, you might wake up and realize what you did wasn't enough, you weren't there enough, you didn't call enough, you didn't text enough, you didn't get whatsapp early enough. Some day you might end up questioning your own sincerity, some day you'll be drowning in a suffocating vat of self-blame and thinking "why didn't I tell her I love her one more time?"

Be perfect. Please be perfect to them because they will need it. Please be perfect because life is not gentle, and neither is love. They will toss you around like a rag doll and you'll be irreparably torn by the end of everything. Be perfect for your special someone and hold them against you with all your strength. Because if you loosen your grip for even a second they might disappear.

So be an angel to the one you love because they might be your angel. When they fly away, you'll be left alone with nothing but a life full of broken feathers.
