Personality:

Hana has two types of personality; one to the strangers, which is being very shy, quiet, and mysterious, then the other is to her family and closest friends, which being hyperactive, overprotective, and weird. To strangers, she likes to keep everything to herself, she doesn't like talking to people she doesn't know. She trusts people to easily and doesn't want to get easily hurt, like before. Hana, also doesn't like to approach people, they have to approach her, if they want to talk, since she's that shy and quiet. She's very independent when it comes to working with other people she doesn't know. She'd rather do things by herself than with people, who won't do anything. 

When she's with her closest friends and family members, she's very different from her quiet, mysterious side. She's very hyper and weird when she's with them. She laughs, like she hasn't laughed before. She laughs and then air laughs for about 5 minutes and then rolls on the weird, which is very weird. She doesn't care if people make fun of her laugh, she likes it and makes her look more lively. Hana also likes to embarass herself in front of her friends, family, and in front of a crowd. She's not scared of people talking about her, she always thinks that they're jealous of how she acts. She's a child in a 17 year old body, that's what her parents says about her. 

Hana can get mad really easily, so you can say, she can get bipolar easily. If someone touches her things, she gets crazy and throws a tantrum, if no one tells her where it is, or she can't find it. That's why she tells people to not touch her things, or they'll deal with the devil her. She also has this look called 'The Glare of Twins Dragon'. Since she likes watching kung fu movies, that's what they called her evil, mad glare. But her madness can also be when she's very overprotective over her loved ones. She won't let anyone go if they mess with her loved ones, she'll talk to them, to give them a lesson or a talk about not messing with her or her loved ones.

How did you meet?:

When Hana was out with her best friend, Sunhwa from SECRET. She was invited to watch them practice, which she gladly accepted and wanted to see how it was to be an idol. While she was walking, she bumped into this masked dude, which scared her, so she quickly went to find the dance room. When she arrived, Hana started dancing crazily, causing laughter to arrive and turned to see him and guys. That's how they met.

Trainee life: 

Hana suffered being alone, while training. No one talked to her and she couldn't see her family or talk to her friends. She was alone and she didn't like it, she also didn't like talking to other people either. Other trainee would bully her, due to her baby fat cheeks, causing her to try to lose that weight. She would wake up at 6 in the morning and end till 11 at night. She gets sick easily and also got skinnier, so she tried to watch what she was doing, while training to stay healthy. Every single day, she thinks about her parents, brothers, and her friends, she couldn't give up right now. It was her dream, so she always thought optimistically. 

How did you get into SM?:

Hana was in Seoul visiting, her and her aunt went out walking, until they saw a little girl performing with her guitar. She was trying to earn money, by playing guitar. There was a little crowd of people, so her aunt recommended her to help the little girl. Since she loves to help people, she went and helped the little girl earn money, by singing. That earned a big crowd, causing people to give money. Without knowing, a cast member came and gave her a card to come and audition at the company. The next day, she went and auditioned and got in right away.

Background:

Lee Jiyong, the father of Hana and the two other boys. He's korean and got married to Victoria Wang when he traveled to San Fransico for his family visit. While he was visiting, he went to go food shopping and when he finished, he lost his way home and asked for directions from her. Instead of asking for directions, he hung out with her instead. When he arrived home 3 hours later, he got lectured by his parents, but his 2 brothers, 1 sister, and parents knew something happened, until he told them what happened. So he ditched them for this girl, who must've been special to him. After that day, he asked her out and they dated for about 8 years, and finally got married. They went to Korea for their honeymoon, since his family insisted him to let his family in Korea see their daughter in law. 

3 years after that, they gave birth to a son, Jay. He was the most stubborn one out of the family, he cried a lot as a child, but when he slowly grew, he stopped clinging onto his family, until they moved to Texas, due to his father's work moving, who works as a website designer. That's when they had Hana. Jay cared for her and she was what revealed his soft side. As she was growing up, at the age 10, they moved to San Diego, where her father was given the position as a professor for psychology. No one knows how, but he just got the job. That's where life started, their life was normal, no hard problems, no nothing. Just how a normal family lives.
