I don't know why, but I hate that some stories get a ton of upvotes when, in all honesty, they should not get them.

I'm neither too humble nor too overconfident in my own stories, but I really dislike it when I actually do have a great story and it gets maybe 1 or 2 votes while a very (hate to be so rude) badly done story gets like 10 votes.

I'm not complaining that I don't get votes specifically, but that many stories that really are awesome don't get voted up. I've read some pretty amazing stuff from people on this site. Then I see a cliche story with a ton of votes on it.

It really bothers me... Especially because of their cliche storylines and character personalities.... They're all the same half the time!  -___- I'm just a complainer.

I think it is because the writer (who write a cliche story) know how to promote her/ his fic. Or it was the reader who had a same taste about a story. I mean, they like to read same type of stories. I'm not sure though. I just say what I think. Mian~

Not really, I feel the same way you do. Then the funny thing is when people complain about those said stories that are too cliche, too common and too predictable yet they're the ones being featured and getting upvotes... and they aren't even well written. Where as a lot of stories that I have read, that are more... (indie? Lol), get absolutely no attention. And it's a damn shame too.
