Math Tests

So, today we got our math test back... I got a 70/100, which should bother me much more than it does haha.

Anyway, the boy next to me looked really upset at his score of 64.

Another boy looked a bit pleased with his 74.

And a girl smiled at her 98.

Of course, we jokingly cheered ourselves up at the low marks, but the boy with the 64 didn't joke.

He didn't smile. He didn't let it go.

He said, "Wah...I'm seriously going to cry at this..." The second boy just laughed and literally called the first one an idiot, a dummy, a stupid person.

It was really rude to be honest. I told him to stop. I knew I needed to say it, especailly when I was the only one noticing that the first boy really had shining eyes.

"This is so... I'm going cry." He said with a bitter, spiteful voice to the three of us.

I felt so horrible for this kid. I mean, I've gotten tons of Ds and Fs on tests, sadly, and I know how it feels the first time.

I pat his arm and told him that he'll do better next time while the girl didn't pay attention and the boy laughed to other people.

I mentally vowed to help the kid, even though I probably need help in math too.

I've never seen a boy cry at school over a test and it really hit me. You would help him too, right?
