Background: She was born in Kyoto, Japan when her parents has a holiday. After that, her family go back to their house in busan. Chanmi's mother died because of her sickness when chanmi still 2 years. That's because chanmi doesn't really know about her mother. She and her twin sister, sunmi, pass a childhood year like another kids. She wants become a singer because her grandmother said that her voice is really good. Then she decide to be a singer.

When she was a child, her house get burned and she's in the house when it happen. Finally, she's save, but after that she had a fire phobia. She even can't look a fire in a small candle.
