personality : Minju is an open person. She's like a tree, she's out there, ask her anything and you shall know. She isn't reserved at all. She likes telling other people about herself when they come up to her and ask. It shows her that they are interested in her and that she always likes. She takes things to heart really easily. She doesn't show it nor does she tell you about it. She doesn't see the point as she'll get over it soon anyways and it's not like it's the end of the world. Little things still do hurt her a little inside though. Minju is a tight-fisted person. She doesn't like lending her stuff to others. She's protective over her belongings. Usually when she doesn't understand something she will get a frown on her face and start thinking of a reasonable answer.

Minju is modest. She doesn't like boasting about her achievements at all and it annoys her when other people do that. She can't really stand shopping as she gets tired of it quickly, but at the same time she loves getting new clothes. She just never seems to find what she's looking for when she goes shopping and that bugs her. She leaves things at the last minute and then curses at herself for not doing it earlier. She only has herself to blame for that and she knows that, but when the right time to do it comes, she always finds something better to do, be it training or reading a book.

She has a slight obsession with dramas. She can't get enough of them. For some reason she ends up liking most of them and there are only a few she doesn't like. She likes being able to see other people's lives and some supernatural things like people coming from the past to the present. When she has free time you'll probably find her sitting on the couch watching some drama.

She likes grammar and so always corrects people if they've got something wrong. She doesn't mind some small mistakes, but there aren't many she defines as small. She just doesn't see the point in learning words, phrases, new languages half-heartedly and likes using correct grammar.
background : She grew up in an ordinary family. Went to an ordinary school, got ordinary grades. She was just another ordinary student. She had always liked singing. She can remember going to a singing contest when she was six. She didn't win, but she did have a great time and got a new experience. In school, she'd be part of the choir and give performances whenever she was asked, which didn't happen a lot. She kind of dropped singing after her fifth year of school, but when she got 14, she decided she wanted to be a singer. It had always been her dream and she had finally decided to work towards it. When she thought about what she wanted to do, the first things that always popped into her head was singing. She did have second options which were either a lawyer or a nurse, because then her family could help her out if she had any questions about her work. That of course didn't appeal to her as much and so she didn't really have anything else to choose than becoming a singer and she was happy about it.

She never really had any troubles with making friends. It wasn't that hard for her to go up to people and have a conversation with them. She liked that about herself. That doesn't mean that she's the popular girl that has tons of friends, nothing of the sorts. At school she had two friends, Kim Rihyun and Jung Jieun. She met Rihyun earlier and so knew more about her, but she has always treasured Jieun just as much. They were almost always together at school and being in different classes didn't stop them. She and Jieun also made friends with Rihyun's older brother named Yoochun. Of course he thought of them being annoying and immature, but he did call them his friends.

Nothing too tragic didn't happen to her. The saddest moment in her life was her dog dying, which of course is horrible and devastating, but she didn't lose anyone. However, Jieun did. Jieun lost her father when she was 13 years old and it broke her down. It was up to Minju and Rihyun to try and piece her back together. They knew they couldn't do much and they knew they could never understand what she felt unless they went through it themselves, but still they tried their best to make her smile again. Of course their hard efforts didn't go to waste and Jieun was back to normal after some time.

family background : She has always called her family life normal. In the morning her mother would wake her up, she'd get dressed and go downstairs to have a family breakfast. At the table her father would usually be reading the paper and then quickly hurrying off after a cup of coffee, kissing her and her mother on the forehead before he'd go. Minju and Yejin would continue their breakfast talking about important things they'd have scheduled for the day. Then Minju would leave to go to school and soon after that her mother would also leave the house. The next time they would meet would almost always be dinner time. They once again would sit down around their kitchen table, but this time they'd be talking about the adventures they'd had during the day. And that happened on almost every day.

She likes her childhood. It was a time when her father had more free time and would pick him up from kindergarten and take her to eat ice cream. She'd always make him take her to the playground and push her swing. But then as he got promoted, his time with her started to shorten. He had more work to worry about and couldn't always be there for her. He missed many of her events, because he just couldn't make it with the workload he had. Sure, it saddened Minju, but she understood. He was working so she's have a better life and could afford things she wanted.

Her mother has always kept a close eye on her. Yejin is a very protective person especially with her daughter. Whenever Minju was over five minutes late, Yejin would start worrying. Also, whenever Minju would hurt herself, Yejin would pandage it right away. She always kept a box of bandages with her, just in case. Even though she's protective, she also wants Minju to achieve her dream. That's why she was always encouraging her and telling Minju not to give up. She knew the bath her daughter had chosen was a difficult one, and she's do anything to see her succeed.
