I think that the one thing that has ever made me angry at fandoms were that they were mostly children. And there's nothing wrong with that! Don't get me wrong, you can be as young or as old as you want. I'm just saying that younger fans don't know when to be quiet and accept something. Maybe it's just me. Maybe it's because I know that things won't always be the same. People grow up. They become adults. And they do whatever the they want because they don't always have to please you. 

Prime example, Justin Bieber smoking weed or whatever the . And let me just re-iterate that it was not him smoking but that look a like he has that was smoking. But if he does smoke weed (which I'm sure he might have done once or twice) then whatever. He can do whatever the he wants.  

He is 18. He has been pleasing fans for the past couple years of his life when he could have been doing what teenagers normally do. Which is partying and ing up. But he had goals, and he had dreams. And when an opportunity was present, he took it. He worked hard, played hard, and he is now one of the most richest celebrities. Who happens to love all of his fans. 

But some of them just want old Justin. 16 year old Justin. The Justin who just sang and did fan service and didn't do anything like smoking or anything looked own upon in society. But that's impossible. Because he deserves to experience what teens do these days. He can smoke all the weed he wants. He can get hundreds of tattoos. He can write and sing a song on for all I care. 

I won't love him any less, and he won't be any less himself. 

He's growing up. And some fans have to realize that.

I know they are younger and they don't understand. But there are older fans that have the same mind set. I've seen fans walk out on their idols just because they did something they didn't approve of, but what do they want? To dictate their idols lives? 

They would miss the older part of the idol. They would see a flaw, that's not even a flaw, and ask for that idol to stop. They would dislike them for just being them. & that's one of the ugly parts of humanity.

But there are who they are. And you can't change that about them. You have no right to.
