Yay, my first blog post :D

So, let the ranting begin xD

First of all, for everyone, I'm a 19-year-old girl from Austria (no typo there, I really mean AUSTRIA, not Australia) and I started to study for teacher-training course, so that I can become a German and Geography teacher in a few years.

I really needed a lot of time to answer the question "What should I do after school?" and then I really thought that becoming a teacher would be awesome. So I was really happy that I made a decision, but it seems like my dream to become a teacher will burst like a freakin' bubble.

The reason for this is really simple and one of the most stupid things the Austrian politicians ever decided on.

The name for this reason is "STEOP" (I like to call it STOP, but well...). This thing is devided into two exams for 2 school subjects and 1 exam is for the history of education. So all in all 3 exams, which are supposed to prepare us students for the next years in university.

But, the funniest thing ever (<- this is sarcasm, if you haven't noticed) is, that the exams are like hell and they ask you things which you have never heard of before. Aaand, you can only write every exam twice. Aaaaaand, the best thing I have ever heard of is that, if you don't pass the exam about the history of education, you will get blocked for teacher-training course for your whole life. Isn't it just funny?

Well, I already failed this history-thing exam once and tomorrow will be my second try (in the first exam I needed 21 points, I got 19). I know, I shouldn't think pessimistic and so on, but I will (probably) fail this exam (except there is a really smart student sitting in front of me, if you know what I mean).

I'm totally devastated right now, I can't sleep and I even cried because of this in' , because I really want to become a teacher, and just because our government thinks "Ah, there are to many students in Austria, let's launch a system, in which more than half of the students will be eliminated :D". I really hate our government...

So, the 19th January will probably the end of my glorious 3 months of being a student at an university... Hurray!
