Why The Heck Is There An One Direction Tag?

I'm not a hater, I don't really have an opinion. They are decent singers, but I'm just not a fan. Anyway, I cannot help but wonder why there is an One Direction tag on AFF? I'm pretty sure AFF stands for Asian FanFics and unless One Direction magically became an Asian boyband overnight and I just happened not to notice, something is not right. I just feel that if someone is a kpop fan and a Directioner, then yes, even though they have all the right in the world to go and write an One Direction fanfic, but not here. There are many fansites for One Direction fanfics, so I don't see a reason for them to be here. Yes I'm sure many of you disagree with me and say that it is perfectly alright to write about One Direction on AFF, but considering the sites name has Asian in it's name, I just don't find it appropriate for an One Direction fanfic to be on here. I'm open to any debate about the topic, so if you disagree or agree it'd be interesting to see why.

Its okay if they're implanted into an Asian setting with an Asian band, so they would be like band buddies, but if they have a tag and it's JUST 1D in the, I personally don't think there should be a One Direction tag at all.

I didn't even know there was one direction tag. But yeah there shouldn't be one.I think people got lost in here. To me it doesn't bother me at all.because I even didn't know before ^^ just ignore it.

what the HELL man?! This is a sight for ASIAN fan fiction!! Seriously -.- every time we find a happy home somebody comes along and changes things. You make an exception for One Direction, next thing you know every Bieber and Gomez fanatic is featured on the wall and the Asian stories become the ones amiss.

Same. I saw one a few months ago and in the an the author was ranting about how she didn't want to be bashed for being a directioner, but all I could think was, Wrong website woman.
