Keeper and the pig

Before I launch into this 'interesting' post, I just want to say that I resolved my account issues earlier. Changed password. I wonder if my tumblr, me2day and other accounts were compromised. I'll check in a while.

Keeper walked for almost thirty minutes from the waiting shed to buy dinner. Mom is attending our Pastor's silver wedding anniversary celebration somewhere lol. And in the menu today is lechon/litson or roast pig. Yummy. Crispy in the outside, juicy in the inside. Anyway, my purpose is not to make your mouths water. It is just that while the vendor is weighing the meat and all its cholesterol, people started crowding behind me.

You know that it is one of my pet peeves. I go into an empty shop and then suddenly, people start coming in. I know I blogged about this before. But this time I was not annoyed. I was kinda happy realizing that I helped the shop gain more customers. I made the litson more enticing by buying it. I blessed the owner in a way.

The price in the weighing scale registered 380. I have the exact amount. My allowance. OTL. I took out three one-hundred bills and waved it in front of manong (ahjussi). I politely asked if he could take away the bones and ligaments until my purchase costs 300. He laughed at me and gave me everything for the price of 300. Then he called over his shoulder, "Give her extra." He was referring to the gravy. Lol. Ahjussi is nice.

And because I blessed him, he blessed me in return. Haha. It's a pretty cool cycle, isn't it? Kingdom principle at work. Bless and be blessed.

wow. you made me hungry considering I am on an almost vegan, cranberry juice diet. I went to the doctor earlier and I have mild urinary tract infection. Nothing that antibiotics can't cure. But THAT made my mouth water. I sooo miss lechon!
