Hey guys! I recently (well like 6 months lol) found out about the book "Battle Royale" I heard that it was a good book, but I also heard it was SUPER sad. Have any of you read it? Is it worth it?
There's the fic up here called Annual Battle Royale by misskwonjiyong and its based on the book. It's good, but its really sad. I suggest you do read it,
I read it and it was seriously one of the best books I had ever read. It's still my ultimate favorite, but it's quite dark. People have said that hunger games is a rip off of it but i think that's not true. They have a similar concept but other than that everything else is pretty much different. It was sad because people inevitably die (not sure if you've read a summary or a quick over view) but I literally could not put the book down. I highly recommend it!
P.S. The Japanese names threw me off and I couldn't remember who was who, but the book was SERIOUSLY. AMAZING. It is completely worth it.
