That is Life
One moment you are up, and then the next moment you are crashing down, face first on stony ground.
After backing up my files in my external hard drive, my laptop crashed, as I feared. Murphy's Law: "Everything that can go wrong will go wrong."
Today is the deadline for the short story contest in the anime forum. I still don't have a plot (lol) after one month XD And with my lappy gone, I would have to type it using Playbook in Google docs and then format it. The italicized and bold text becomes regular text after pasting to the forum.
I will go to the shop to get it fixed (if they can) on Monday. Keeper is far away from HP service centers. And I was given a tight budget. If the repair costs more than that, well...Keeper will just have to say bye bye and save for a brand new laptop. It is more practical that way.
[Lord, I need a laptop with at least a 1680 x 1050 screen resolution, 2GB RAM minimum, a dedicated graphics card (perhaps a 128mb NVIDIA GeForce or higher), Intel Duos 2.1 ghz processor and a built-in camera. Thank you. In Jesus name, amen.]
I do have money but it is with my dad ^^ and he won't let me sell any of my cows. This is an emergency. Can't he see how important it is for me? OTL
BB Playbook, Apple iPad Touch, Samsung Galaxy S... put together can't compare to my four year old lappy >.< Or any laptop for that matter. While I do love my apps and the portability of these devices, their function is merely for entertainment.
My sister will format her netbook and let me use it since she doesn't need hers anymore. At least, I can still finish my thesis with Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Sadly, I can no longer use Photoshop or try out MANGA Studio 4. Else risk her netbook also...which is the same age as my lappy. She bought it when doing her thesis at a magazine company.
Ah...priorities, priorities...
This is stressful. OTL.
Must.not.think.about.It.
The Lord will surely provide.
