There are some who asked me why I am such a passionate and fanatic G-Ye shipper even after all this years. My answer is simple, I treat G-Ye as my hobby =) Just like any other hobby of mine, say netball game. I am a passionate netball player since I was 9 years old (yes, I’ve been playing this game for more than 15 years, for those who don’t know my age, I am as old as the DBSK guys lol)

To some, netball is just a sissy game and not popular – like G-Ye, they maybe just a leader couple and not as famous as other couple – but to me it doesn’t matter as long as I enjoy playing and shipping the things I love, I feel contented and happy =)

Apart from netball, of course I know about other ‘ball’ games like basketball, volleyball, baseball and I know the rules, meaning that I can play them but I don’t because I like and enjoy playing netball. Like G-Ye, I know of other G-Dragon and Sunye couple pairing and aware of their interactions and similarities, but you see I love G-Ye for reasons beyond which I can explain =)

Playing other ball games like basketball for example, may not be to my enjoyment coz I find basketball a bit too rough for my liking but that does not mean I should hate basketball and express my displeasure at it unnecessarily. The same goes to G-Ye, I don’t really fancy their other couple pairings but that does not mean I should hate and bash them. Mostly because I believe that ‘what you give, you get back’ (some called it ‘karma’) so if you give love, you will get back love. Therefore, I only know how to show my love towards my favorite couple without caring or hating their other pairings because if I have the time to hate or feel envy, I rather concentrate loving G-Ye more. Besides, the thing that I dislike I’ll simply ignore them because I am trained to think that ‘Ignorance is bliss’ hehehe

Like any game you play, there is winning and losing. So, it doesn’t mean when I lose my netball game I don’t play netball anymore. Just like G-Ye, there may be rumors of them with someone else etc, but I still very much ship them because I don’t just ship them as a ‘couple’ but also as an individual. So if they do find someone who makes them happy, then why not? However, in my fandom, I can still ship them as a couple, right? =)

After all, netball is a game and G-Ye is just a fandom. I know one day that I may not be able to play netball because of my rising age or health and same goes to G-Ye, they may end up marrying someone else or each other =) I don’t know what will happen in the future but one thing I know I live in the present – and right now, I enjoy playing netball and shipping G-Ye<3

Even if there isn’t any player left to play netball game with me, I think I can still enjoy playing the netball game by myself, yes I’ll be the defender, the shooter, the attacker, anything. Simply because I enjoy playing netball game and same goes with G-Ye, even if I am the only fan of them left in the fandom, I’ll still ship them and continue making fanfiction and fanvideo about G-Ye<3

And if you ask me why I like netball so much, it will be like asking David Beckham why he likes to play soccer? To me playing netball and shipping G-Ye is just a hobby of mine. Mind you, I have lots of other hobbies as well and not to mention other fandom like J-Pop and C-Pop =)

Hope this answers the questions to those who are curious about my fandom towards G-Ye. Like I mentioned earlier, it doesn’t matter if G-Ye is popular or not because I don’t ship them due to their popularity. I love them because both are two amazing individuals and it will be awesome if they do become a pair. And because I am ‘inspired’ by the extraordinaire leader couple, I just want to spread the G-Ye love and happy enough to be around those who share the same interest as me. Like netball, as long as there are players who enjoy the game, why not keep playing?
