Top 3 Ships:
These are the couples that I will always read and write about, and which my feels for them will never die no matter how much I sway.

1. Woohyun/Chorong: Same age friends from same district, and even live in the same building. Both are impossible in their own respective ways, yet both struggle with their masks to hide their fears and insecurities away. Their personalities complement each other very well. Compared to other ships, I can picture them the best in my head, even up to the fights. I think of their relationship as peeling onions - with each layer peeled off, there'll be tears involved but that's how they can get to the core.

2. Kai/Krystal: It's those fleeting moments―the way she gazes at him from a distance, the way he stares at her when she's looking away. Secret smiles and gestures that make us raise our brows. Their interactions are always so brief and discreet. Their personalities and stage personas overlap each other like mirrors. While Kai is the y dancer, Jongin is a kid who watches cartoons in his free time. While Krystal is the ice princess, Soojung is a simple girl who gets amused at even the silliest thing. Same age friends with overlapping trainee period, which makes everything much more intriguing. Because she is the one standing next to him when he realizes that he is living his dream.

3. Minho/Krystal: My first ever male bias and first ever female bias. My athlete couple. Cool and dynamic. Both are strong headed yet very delicate. You can imagine them bickering over the smallest thing, and let the fight drags on for so long just because neither refuses to be the first to apologize. She doesn't really call him oppa unless they're on camera, and the smile he had when she did defeats anything. There's something in the lyrics he wrote "you shine so brightly, I can’t even open my eyes". And it's obvious how they hardly get coupled up anymore nowadays.

Top 15 runner-up ships:
These are the couple that I love almost as much as I love the top 5, but I won't necessarily write about them all the time (but will always read fics on them)

1. JB/Hyejeong: It's interesting how they were both casted in The Romantic & Idol, but never had the chance to couple up even once. Still they are on friendly terms and always joked around (mostly him teasing her). Hey, boys themselves admit that they usually tease the girl they like. Besides when asked with whom he would like to go on a date with, once JB answered Hyejeong.

2. Taemin/Sulli: In my eyes they are the eternal children of SMTOWN. They share this understanding and bond that no one can put a finger on. Both of them are best known for their bright sunshiny smiles, yet there are times when you see how the harshness of the real world has tainted their innocence. And for that I believe they know each other best.

3. Jr./Suzy: Same aged friends who know each other too well. They aren't afraid to showcase their friendship in public, fooling around and sharing jokes comfortably. They have so much chemistry together and look exceptionaly good as a pair. Suzy is popularly known as Nation's First Love, while Jinyoung is making his way up as Nation's Ideal Boyfriend. Netizens even admit that they are like mirrors of each other.

4. Kyuhyun/Victoria/Changmin: I just love their dynamics. While Kyuhyun and Changmin are bros who even go on holidays together, Victoria and Kyuhyun are never afraid to show off how close they both are. I'm betting she is just as close with Changmin but they keep their friendship more private due to the previous incident. I love how they can be anything when it comes to fics, and how they can be y without even implying .

5. Minhyuk/Alice: The mothers of the group. He is stupid and cheesy, while she is insanely 4D and aggressive, but when they go on air they both turn hopelessly shy and quiet. Still, both are extremely kind - he prepares lunch boxes for his maknaes, and she sheds tears because she hates to go hard on her maknaes. Both have pre-debut experiences, though rather contrasting.

6. Hoya/Bomi: While he's quiet and reserved, she's crazy and unpredictable. Their personalities are the exact opposite, thus that way they complement each other. They both are the dancers and they both did taekwondo. She's a tennenboke, his ideal type. Because he had to interfere when Woohyun was talking about her. Because she starts learning English puns almost at the same time Hoya adds 'girls who are good in English' in his preference.

7. Myungsoo/Suzy: Both live in their own strange world and often mutter things people can't comprehend. I personally think they are a lot closer that they seem to be onscreen, because when he guested on Invincible Youth II, she addressed him as oppa rather than -ssi. And it's interesting how Hyunsoo's background and personality parallel Hyemi's perfectly.

8. Luhan/Nana: Their personalities clash so it's interesting to venture into their relationship - how they complement and put up with each other, with Nana's quirks and Luhan being easygoing.

9. Taecyeon/Tiffany: The best friends who know each other more than they know themselves. Both are equally stupid and love to embarrass one another, because that's what best friends do. The nut club. His hamster and her giant. The could have beens.

10. Mark/Ayeon: In the first promotional video for One Mic concert, when asked whose stage they look forward to the most, Mark shyly and cutely said "Ayeonie" in a small voice. Turns out he along with Bambam and Jackson were the special dancers for Ayeon's A Good Boy stage. Ayeon also posted several photos with Mark in her Instagram, and one of those she wrote "my friend Mark" which proved their close friendship.

11.Dongwoon/Hayoung: My maknae couple, both foreign looking and the giants of their respective group. If you look closely, they actually resemble each other in a way. They share this connection that really raises brows, from the way they exchange gazes to their secret jokes.

12. Doojoon/Chorong: Yet another ship list ruiner. Both are the oldest of respective group, and both are leaders. Still, they banter like little kids, like when she purposely chose Kikwang over him and gave him that cheeky smirk afterwards. They always seem to have some inside jokes going on whenever they exchanged glances.

13. Hoya/Chorong: Perhaps if it wasn't for the fact that Woorong and Homi are such perfect complements of each other, this would've been my pairing of my choice. Chorong seems to me is a headstrong kind of girl, while Hoya is naturally kind and would always gives in to avoid fights. Hoya possesses a different kind charisma compared to Woohyun, and for that reason this pairing gives off a very cool aura. Plus who can forget how he pats Kwik when the dog is in her embrace?

14. Ilhoon/Yooyoung: The rapper/aegyo couple. On the surface they are filled with so much cuteness but they also have another side to them that makes them rather intriguing.

15. Sehun/Krystal: Funnily, I've always had this image of him having a crush on her, maybe secretly, maybe not. He is like the friend who will always be there for her, always looking out for her just in case. Sehun, despite his seemingly cold persona, is actually much gentler. It's easy to imagine how he melts when it comes to her, following her around obediently and obeying her without any complaint. They may bicker, but that's just him wanting maintain his ego.
