Trainee history: She sent in an audition video at the age of 11 and was shortly called in to Seoul for a second audition. She flew over from America and when she was accepted, she stayed in the trainee dorm. She spent 6 years as a trainee, and although she was good enough to debut before, she chose to debut later as she did not want to start at a young age. During her trainee years, she developed a knack for song writing and composing.

Trivia:

• Cannot multi task and thus always blocks out others when she is focusing on something (eg. thinking silently, playing games, singing, rapping, etc)
• Easily distracted with things around her and her own thoughts and thus always seems as though she doesn't pay attention to the speaker though this usually only happens when someone is speaking for a long time
• Was born in Daegu but moved to New York when she was still a toddler with her parents for work
• Never had many friends in the States as she was considered a foreigner 
• Is able to speak Korean as her parents made her speak it at home but is still somewhat lacking in reading and writing (is able to read and write but at a very slow speed)
• Loves to eat though is somewhat picky with her food but balances out her huge diet with regular exercises, mostly running and tennis
