She likes to think she's hiding herself under her uncute clothes and that she won't attract too much attention, but she doesn't realize that the over sized sweaters and skinny jeans make her look cute, so long as you don't look at her angry, scowling face.

{personality} Soojung seems scary when you first meet her; she scowls a lot and frowns, and she doesn't really have a brain to mouth filter. If something pops up in her mind,she'll say it out right. Soojung doesn't tend to be mindful of the feelings involved when she speaks, as shown in her rude rejections of her suitors. She doesn't believe in true love and she certainly doesn't believe in any sort of Prince Charming; she laughs at the idea itself and will tease poor Chocolate relentlessly. She sometimes gets mad when Chocolate goes on and on about love, mostly because Soojung is...well...jealous. She's a bit jealous that Chocolate is so brave and so willing to put herself out there when she herself is terrified of the real world. Although Soojung seems like a tough and cool character, she's quite possibly the most vunerable and weak. Her feelings get hurt easily, and she has a bad habit of turning her sadness into rage and hate. She grew up watching things like Jerry Springer and Maury with her mom and thus got exposed at a young age to cheating men that hate their wives. She doesn't want to be that girl one day, the girl whose heart is broken and her whole life is shattered.  Soojung is happy with her life as it is right now, she doesn't want to make new friends in case they betray her. She doesn't want to take risks in case she fails. And she doesn't want to fall in love anhave her life shattered. She's close minded and doesn't like trying new things because she's afraid of the risks involved.

*Vegetables. She really doesn't like them one bit, and there isn't a single veggie that she can say she likes.

*Her parents moved to Oregon before she was born due to a business endeavor. She moved back to Korea when she was 12 because her parents went bankrupt

*She's afraid of being rejected or failing.

*She really does want to try new things like her friends but she wants someone to put forth some effort and convince her.

*She sort of, maybe, wishes someone would sweep her off her feet and learn all about her fears and chase them away, but she;s too afraid to let her heart open up and try

*She has actually never attended a party that wasn't a close friends birthday party

*Although scary movies scare her out of her wits, she is addicted to them and will watch them whenever possible. She will then beg to sleep with someone, and cuddle them to death.

{background} She actually had a nice, typical childhood. She didn't always used to be Ms. Sourpants and Ms. Skeptical, she actually used to believe in things like love at first sight, butterflies in the tummy, and all that romantic, mushy stuff that she frowns upon today. She was actually considered a little 'love crazy' by her parents and was always asking boys to be her prince charming and such. Her mother decided it was for the best if she showed her precious daughter that love isn;t always rainbows and butterflies, She had no idea that it would turn her daughter into such a hard headed skeptic. Both of her parents are still alive and have moved back to Korea with her after the business her father invested in went bankrupt. They didn't lose all their money, but they lost quite a bit of it. After a few months of living uncomfortably, her father left them for another family, only further pushing her into a shell and making her believe that men are pigs.

{basic information} Song Sooyoung ; 45 ; Alive ; she works in a flower shop

{personality} She's a sweet mother that does her best to provide and to make sure Soojung is happy. She often writes letters and calls her daughter to check in on her.

{relationship} Sooyoung is doting; maybe a little too doting. And she really wants some grandkids, so she's always trying to fix her daughter up with "nice young men" and it pisses Soojung off to no ends, though she loves her mother dearly. She just....doesn't like to get asked about her life or get set up on blind dates with random jerks that she'll never like.

 

{daddy} 

{basic information} Song Dongyoo; 50;  Alive ; unknown

{personality} When Soojung was young, he was a perfectly loving father that took good care of his family. He made every holiday a big event and did his best with everything. He was very sweet and caring, and Soojung was a total daddy's girl. He spoiled her near rotten, always buying her whatever she wanted and making sure he always had time to play with his daughter. Towards the end of their family he grew bitter and harsh and would sometimes say cruel and hurtful things to Soojung and Sooyoung. He called Soojung worthless and unlovable, and that no man would evern stay with a girl with a personality like hers.

{relationship} She hasn't seen him since he left, but she misses her dad even though she pretends to hate him and puts on a strong front. She doesn't know how she would react when she sees him again, but she'll probably burst into tears and be really confused about her feelings, especially if he apologized.

 

{relatives} No one really.

 

{friends}  Just the girls she lives near. She had some friends back in America but she doesn't get the chance to talk to the anymore and it has been years.

 

{rivals} basic information: Han Goorin ; 20 ; alive ; barista

{personality} She's a bubbly, innocent seeming girl that is actually sort of a brat on the inside. She gets jealous easily and doesn't like Soojung because Soojung  is so...weird in her opinion. She can't understand how Soojung can not like guys, so she instead accuses Soojung of being a tsundere personality to attract boys. She thinks Soojung is fake, and has made it her personal mission to expose her. Soojung is completely oblivious to her rival and hardly even knows Goorin exists, which causes Goorin to pitch fits. Often.

{relationship} Soojung doesn't really know Goorin hates her, so she treats her the same as she treats anyone; with somewhat impolite disregard. She doesn't care much for Goorin, but she doesn't dislike her so she at least acts civil around her.

{love interest} Park Chanyeol [he's so cute!!]

{extra information} Hm, no, I think you captured a wonderful personality that would fit cupcake well~! His determination will be awesome, and I totally picture him being the kind of person that would get fed up with Soojung's stick-in-the-mud behavior and straight up pick her up and force her to ride a roller coaster or something, and then she'll be all excited and spastic and pumped up with adrenaline and want to ride ALL the rides and she ends up wearing him out completely.

{relationship} Well, when they first meet I'm sure neither of them are very impressed. Chanyeol, from your description, doesn't seem too interested in love himself. He just likes to have fun, and Soojung's lack of fun senses will probably drive him bonkers. He'll totally hate that she never tries anything new, and will make it his goal in life to force her to do something she's afraid of. And when she finally starts opening up and tasting the flavors of life and seeing how great trying new things is, he'll maybe start to think her childish and spastic excitement is cute?

{first impression} I'm sure Chanyeol was civil and perhaps even nice when they first met, but Soojungie...she hates boys, you know? So her immediate thought was "Oh he's being nice to me so he can seduce me and-and- I don't know, do evil things." instead of just thinking that hey, it's possible guys can be nice and good people. So, without even giving him a chance, she's rude to him and tells to leave her alone. His first impression quickly changes from "she looks sort of cute" to "God, she's the devil."

{extra} Those above...those aren't necesarrily requested scenes...right? I didn't mean to fill up all that space with scenarios and stuff. That's just how I explain the characters. They aren't scenes I really care much for, more just scene ideas that show how the character acts and thinks? Although I would really like to see that scenario when he forces her to do something she's always been afraid of. I think it would be awesome.

 

 

{love rival} basic information: Kim Himchan ; 20 ; alive ; College student

{personality} He's a nice, relaxed guy that's not afraid to embarrass himself to make someone smile or laugh, especially when they're down. Unlike Chanyeol, he's the considerate type who thinks before he speaks and makes sure not to step on toes or hurt feelings. He's a genuinely sweet guy that likes to take care of people, but he does have a bit of a temper, especially when he's disrespected (though no one knows if he's actually angry or just joking.)

{relationship} She doesn't like Himchan much more than she likes other guys, but she sort of has a soft spot for him because he's sweet to her. But just when she starts to soften and think he's okay, she remembers that men are pigs and they're just trying to seduce her and have their wicked way and then leave her all alone and miserable and- she has a lot of weird delucions about what men do, as you can see. And then she hates him again, and sometimes punches him.

{extras} this is completely up to you, to be honest. I don't picture him having a love rival because of her reserved nature. But if someone was in love with her, it's be someone like Himchan because he's sort of like Chanyeol.

{comments} if anything needs changed, go ahead and dictate to me~ I'm excited for this fic, this character especially. Not necesarrily the character I created, but Cupcake in general. I think she has a lot of potential for really cute situations and a very sweet love story.

{request or sugestions} Not really, no. I'm actually thinking about more scenes for this character and stuff. If you ever run out of ideas, I could help you~! And it's weird, because this character (not Soojung, again, but Cupcak in general) is kind of how like I am and that might be why I find her interesting. haha, self-obsessed...
